Every new patch cable purchased from FS.com is packaged like this. Is this necessary? I am not sure what's more annoying, the over use of plastic or the use of imperial measurements....

The download itself is ok. It’s the PS4 installing the data that’s taking up the time (according to what I am seeing on screen).

I have an original PS4 and it’s installed with its original drive. I don’t play on it very often, because of this, when I do I usually get forced to install updates. It takes an absolute age, sometimes longer than the 30 mins I have spare to play it in the first place! I have read mixed reviews about installing an SSD into it. People report games loading quicker, but there isn’t much about games installing / updating quicker. Someone on another forum said an SSD won’t improve this. I am wondering if anyone here has done the upgrade, did installations and upgrades sped up please? Logic dictates that it would help but there might be something I have missed. Thanks

It’s already in force here in South Australia and has been for a while. Prices didn’t change here. They are also banning plastic from cotton wool buds and plastic takeaway containers (although they aren’t common anymore). There is more but it escapes me! They will also take soft plastics such as bags in the recycling soon.

VDSL is Fibre To The Cabinet (or Fibre To The Node). It should be better than ADSL as this is essentially Fibre to the exchange. I would not expect the download to be slower. There could be something wrong with the line or maybe the router. Or maybe it is limited by the ISP or the package that has been purchased?

This isn't normal behaviour. It should ask once and that's it. Do you use conditional access? This could cause this.

Last year we watched Chucky, the TV series based on the Child’s Play movies. We enjoyed it. We have been watching series 2 and abandoned it. Extremely disappointed, the storyline is terrible. Cannot recommend.

I would agree with this. In the days of social media, communication apps etc I also found that people didn’t really use the website anymore. You don’t even need it to lookup the address of phone number. Google does that for you! It just seemed to be there for Ofsted compliance.

Could you connect both dock and PC to the monitors. Switch the input with the inbuilt controls. Then connect the mouse and keyboard via Bluetooth to both devices? Not a great solution though.

I’m confused as to why the IT department is involved. This would something that lives with marketing. Leave it to them to sort out.

Have you considered a complete fresh install on the host and re-importing the virtual machines? It would be much cleaner.

As a student in the mid 2000’s we did the exact same in dreamweaver and if we did the above we would get 0 marks.

How big is your range? If for example they give you a /19 you could subnet that down?
