  1. Was it the BIOS update that did the trick?
  2. Remember that Microsoft can see a activities on cloud services. Piracy and improper licences can most probably be seen.
  3. In addition to the above, long term service is better via resellers. I find vendors like Dell constantly change your account manager, so you don’t build a relationship. Ultimately the service suffers.
  4. @0x9h3 - How did you get on?
  5. As it all happened to be the same model, maybe a software bug, is the firmware up to date on these switches?
  6. Sorry mate. You’re out of luck! “BA restriction of use, it must only be used for static display.”
  7. Unfortunately I can’t contribute, but loving the post! Keep them coming!
  8. I had the thought that something like Shellys (maybe a commercial equivalent) installed at the lights would be useful. You can turn all the lights off when the site is empty. You could also turn on courtier lights etc automatically at the start of the day. Shelly use WIFI not ZigBee but there could be more appropriate devices that serve the same function.
  9. What do you call a pony with a sore throat? A little horse!
  10. It’s worth adding that if you update your ADMX files there are heaps more options in group policy relating to automating patches.
  11. Is the BIOS up to date? I haven’t seen it with this specific device but have others. BIOS updates fixed the issue.
  12. I manage a fleet of 250+ servers. I use WSUS to fully patch them, including installation and reboot. But the reboot is scheduled overnight. It works great. I do have a test group I use first, if all good then deploy to production. I do have production spilt into groups and patch over a 4 day period. I split servers like domain controllers into seperate groups so they aren’t all offline at the same time. To reboot immediately you could use a tool called batch patch. It can download updates from WSUS, install and reboot right away.
  13. The cycling traffic lights might come first….
  14. I just spotted this on Twitter. Looks like you’re correct!
  15. I love it! A bonus snack!
  16. These are also banned here.
  17. In true typical style I woke up this morning and it is working fine! It was intermittent so I am not counting my chickens just yet.
  18. Unfortunately I have also found this to be normal. Even when I was in the UK. I inherited a school that had signed up tor Schools Broadband. The service was awful. Initiated the exit within the notice period and they make it extremely difficult so I would give yourself more time than their minimum term.
  19. I have also used a VPN to Australia and it’s working. But it’s really intermittent sometimes it works just fine. I am on my phone at the moment but will try ping when I get to my laptop. Thanks
  20. Hello, The past few days I am having intermittent issues accessing Edugeek. This is happening on both iOS App and the website. I connected to VPN to the UK and the issue is instantly fixed. I have test on both WIFI and 4G. They are different carriers. I have attached a few screenshots. Thanks
  21. The trick you did with the light sounds like there is a physical break. Maybe rats or mice. Probably time to get the experts in.
  22. Our council recycle them. You put it in the green garden waste. They also take shredded paper in that bin.
  23. I’m a little behind the times. I will pipe down! [emoji846]
  24. I think iPlayer content is 720p anyway.
  25. Isn’t this what documentation is for?
