    Could just be a dodgy local profile then - if you can login as another account rename the ntuser.dat to .bak (or something) and try and login again.

    Yep - it's included as part of the System State from 2008 server onwards iirc.

    As long as you've got enough licences on the Zone Director, and assuming it's all been configured correctly, it's just a case of plug and play to get it up and running.

    Another thought - Dell servers normally come with a Dell branded boot CD - something like "Open Manage Server Assistant", I think. Try booting from this to see if your RAID is healthy - it should have utilities in it. You can download the ISO from the Dell support if required. Ant

    When you boot from the DVD there should be a prompt that says something like "Press F6 to install third-party drivers"... you need to do this and supply the driver on a floppy (!) or usb stick...

    If you're booting from a DVD you probably need to tell SFC where to look - try this: sfc /SCANNOW /OFFBOOTDIR=c:\ /OFFWINDIR=c:\windows Where "c:\windows" is your windows directory... Ant

    Hmm - that's odd. Do you still get ping loss on your core switch? How is stuff connected up? e.g. edge switches --> core switch --> Firewall --> Router --> Internet?

    Showpoint is really quite good I find - but it does mean that you have to put all of your content into a powerpoint presentation first.

    Yep, CBS.log shouldn't grow that big... Stop the "Windows Module Installer" service and then delete the log, then restart the service. As for other logs... chances are a lot of them can be cleaned up. Pretty colours is one reason I like WinDirStat.

    Does Papercut have a SQL database? Can that be moved to a different partition?

    Is there anything that can be moved from the C: drive to another drive/partition? Print Spool folder? Logs? SYSVOL? Temp files? Have a look using something like WinDirStat to see where the space is going.

    Ah... with shared media I think your options are pretty limited. It's been a while since I last used Backup Exec, but I don't think it's possible.

    Best option would be to erase the media.

    Disconnect the affected PC(s) from the network - re-image it. Restore files from backup...
