This - either of these apps will give you a visual view of where the space is going so it's really easy to find out. My bet is on a load of backup files not being pruned... or an out-of-control LDF.

Agree totally with Dos_Box... also get SMT buy-in on an RTO (Recovery Time Objective) - i.e. how quickly stuff can be back up and running. Remember, it might be that some things have a faster RTO than others... i.e. DCs and MIS back up and running quickly, everything else as as secondary concern.

Draytek routers can be a bit interesting when it comes to load-balancing, insofar as that they don't always, in my experience, seem to do it terribly well. I'd recommend looking at a proper bonded-VDSL service, or, potentially, if you're in a very good service area, consider a 5G connection? Ant

Have you got DNS forwarders setup? i.e. Does Domain 1 know that Domain 2 exists? And if so, which DNS server to contact to resolve addresses? ... and is there any AD trust in place? (assuming you might want that).

Hi Mick There aren't many courses directed at HP "operating system" command line stuff, but Cisco stuff is very similar usually in commands and syntax. It's probably worth having a look on site like this one, https://www.udemy.com/course/cool-cisco-ios-commands-master-cli-tips-cli-like-a-boss-time-saving/, to find suitable courses. He might find it better to use a program called "Packet Tracer" on which you can setup network simulations with various bits of Cisco kit and configure them as you would a normal switch. Hi Checkmate, Generally, during the setup process LGfL will ask you to either confirm what your existing internal IP addressing scheme is, or if you're happy to adopt one that they suggest - they give most sites a /22. So potentially, there could be some work to be done there. Then they provide a CPE and firewall and you just plug it in to your core switch and you're all good. They have a pretty good team to help get you up and running and I'd ask to be copied in to all of those emails.

Yep - I've done it in a similar way for an annex - only has CAT5 run to it and no BT cables - so put in a similar device (I think I used a Grandstream HT801) and it's been working perfectly.

I tend to put 1 PSU into the UPS and 1 into the mains (or filtered supply) - that way if one supply fails, the other should kick in.

Might seem odd - but check the power plan is not set to Balanced. I've experienced disk latency issues with VMs that weren't set to "High Performance".

Do you still get the same issue with the handsets on a data VLAN? I'd be interested to see what happens the other way around.

Have you tried using one of the handsets on a data VLAN? And conversely using a softphone on your voice VLAN?
