THis is a game realy made for the PC. BF2 was epic and it wouldnt be the same on a console. Joystick for planes check, keyboard and mouse check, hotkeys check. Bad company is the watered down battlefield for consoles, Battlefield games (1942,2,2142) should really remain PC only I think Bring on Duke Nukem and Portal 2!

I would also recommend looking into an NVQ and study for CompTIA A+ and possibly N+m then move in to more specalised areas such as Cisco and MCSE's. Thankfully I managed to get an entry level role after doing my Computer studies degree (which has no relation to the world of IT, its all programming and website stuff) with no other certifications to my name, I have since completed 701 of my A+ and really should be taking my 702 to become A+ certified asap (ive let it slip) Im learning on the job atm alot as before now I'd never touched a network or a server or even knew anything about them. Even getting a part time entry job will help you or anything you can which is related will look better on your CV then "shop work". Its tough as most jobs even entry jobs are recieved applicants who have worked in the industry for some time and been made redundant in these times.

Ah apple release another minor upgrade to drip-feed its fanboys with slightly improved but still not impressive tech. They look nice but thats about it, there far too limited for most purposes and serve no real purpose (beside the easy to use interface being good for very casual users). Itune grinds my gears too I've had an iphone 3G and 3GS (which broke after 4months) so I purchased a HTC Hero, showed some mates what android does for a 5th of apples products and about 7 of my mates now own android phones ranging from the wildfire to the desire (the desire being a brilliant phone and very quick!)

We have a few mapped drives Central resources- students have read permission only, staff have creator permission. This is used for stuff like spreadsheets or files they want pupils to have for a lesson. Pupil resources- This is located off the server on a NSbox and same permissions as central resources. Used to store stuff like pictures and videos (larger files) split into department folders Staff resources- Resources for staff only with creator permissions for staff members, also on NSbox and mainly used for large files again like videos and photos. Staff docs- On server with same permission as staff resources, contains more genral things like bulletins for staff, manuals and instructions for stuff, extra curric days, staff meeting minutes etc...

I agree alot of Half-life was memorable especially that opening train ride. I used to just love the ps2 james bond games. One of the first games I played was The incredible machine, a game in which you had a series of items you linked togeather to create some sort of pointless rungolberg device, oh hours of fun! Max payne was the first 3rd person game I played and that was very impressive when it came out (still fun today)

looks like theres been a few updates since my last play! My little brother plays it often with his mates and ive seen the bed addition to it so if everyone playing in that server sleeps it skips to the next day

PSU testers were useful on some occasions and often let you connect most cables inc sata and 4pin molex's to check their power output is good so can help locate an issue at times Also often used a small laptop hdd sata connection to pc sata and power so you can actually use a laptop hdd outside your pc, also have a usb 2.0 to 2.5" sata hdd, proved useful for data recovery on busted laptops.

Look at building your own, last year I built an AMD phenom x4 3.2ghz black edition, 2TB HDD, 4GB DDR3 Corsair ram, (cant renember exact) and a lovely coolmasters case and PSU. Used my old Graphics card. Cost me around £400 but would be cheaper now and the case wasnt cheap. UPDATE Just found my old post on ebuyer forum with my comps spec

Nice improvement, my target is 85KG, 111KG atm started at near 118kg tho! Id recommend doing more then 1 hour a week tho where possible, I aim for around 3-4hours exercise per week.

No surprise thats dam intense! The worst ive had is 2 monsters in 1 day and prob 6 over a week altho im on more like 1 a week now as a treat and when I can ill always get the diet one or do exercise to burn 200cals or so the day after if its none diet.

Back from the dead topic but what a great game, Ive had it on my ps3 for almost 6months and never played it (was distracted by other games) decided to play it over the weekend and its addictive, best of all its only around £10 preowned now and in terms of fun beats any other racer out there including burnout and forza.... Yes Ive reinstalled the drivers and still the problem remains. Ive send a diagnostics log to sensory software and they know what is causing the issue and will correct it via team view remote connection (included on the grid disc) We were originally planning to do this after school hours as its our main ICT room and in use all day but unfortunately due to problems outside our control the internet connection for alot of county was down from 2.30>

Shocking! She was there for 20years without anything happening? Surely there were other staff too? At that age kids could be affected by their treatment for the rest of their life or even think this is normal treatment by others! I was given a written warning in my old retail job for spraying linx deodrant (was a hot day and I was a little sticky) I was in the only none shop floor area (behind the door at the back of the shop, we had a small room prob 2m x 2m wide I was in and you could smell the deodrant a little from outside. Aparntly "its a sackable offence to use it on the stores property due to risk of asthma attacks"

Ive had a funny look when I drank some while driving from a copper lol but the cans are very distinct patterns and colours so its not too bad. Coca cola are doing coke zero in 500ml cans now Ive seen! Didn't think coca cola made monster, knew they made relentless tho.

Don;t like rockstar, tryed it a few years ago at Santa Pods Bug Jam VW show, they were sponsering the event and had some women giving out free rockstar drinks, monster is a proper different taste and realy nice. No fear is sold in a few places near my work but ive never seen it elsewhere, with a sealing can lid! £1
