  1. Those photos were taken not longer after I built it (November 2010) I cleaned it out last week for the first time tho and it was pretty dam dirty, also moved it as the fan vents above the heatsink were against the wall (there is no fan in them yet) but I shall be adding an 80mm fan to there and one to the top of the case blowing upwards to increase air movement along with getting a better heatsink and fan controls soon, once I have a new graphics card Thankfully all the front, top and bottom have foam like filters on them which I can remove and wash too
  2. That graphic card sounds abit on the cheap side for a decent one on a gaming rig (ill look up the specs later)
  3. Time to get reading I suppose then! Looks good but can't use it on our server due to not having access to the root domain forest user account.
  4. This morning I made some changes to the user>windows>security>additional and added a path rule for \\servername\students$*.bat. For some dumb reason I did this on the live student accounts rather then testing on a test area 1st Well sure it stopped the scripts running but also stopped students loading any programs including all .exes it was amusing when I first heared and I removed the path rule straight away and forced gpupdate. Well it seems around 80% of the schools computers are ok again but some are having problems as they dont appear to of updated their policy having asked everyone to log off and on again too. Is there any way of ensuring all computers are updated asap other then force? Thanks
  5. I've noticed we get a fair few people on about building new rigs on here so why not setup a list of peoples specs and photos? My current setup with a new Graphics card coming soon. Coolermaster CM690 II with Coolermaster GX 650W PSU,AMD Phenom II 3.2GHz Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition, Corsair 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1600MHz/PC3-12800 XMS3, 9800GT 1GB, Asus M4A87TD/USB3 870 Socket AM3 , 2TB Samasung 7200RPM HDDs, Ikea flat pack area. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/Bondbill2k2/37116_449351577881_517857881_5583374_5576017_n.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/Bondbill2k2/DSCF8443.jpg
  6. I would highly recommend this case bundle, a great CM 690 Coolmaster case and 650W Coolmaster PSU, for £100 your getting a great case, loads of room to have your cables tidy around the back, brilliant cooling (the top front and bottom are all mesh with removable filters on) there are also rubber coated holes for water cooling systems and mounting for Lots of fans! Im only using the stock 120mm blue fan on the front and 80mm fan on the back without any issues Oh if your not a fan of the blue LED fan on the front, the button up top toggles the LED's on/off http://www.coolermaster.com/upload/product_feature/CM690II-Adv_01.jpg http://www.coolermaster.com/upload/product_feature/CM690II-Adv_02.jpg Coolermaster CM690 II Lite with Coolermaster GX 650W.. | Ebuyer.com CM 690 II Advanced - Cooler Master - Leading Provider of Computer Case | Cooler | Power Supply I'll be updating my build soon, currently fairly gaming budget PC and the graphics card is from my old build (the most outaged bit of kit) Coolermaster CM690 II with Coolermaster GX 650W PSU,AMD Phenom II 3.2GHz Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition, Corsair 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1600MHz/PC3-12800 XMS3, 9800GT 1GB, Asus M4A87TD/USB3 870 Socket AM3 , 2TB Samasung 7200RPM HDDs & Ikea flat pack desk area. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/Bondbill2k2/DSCF8441.jpg As for tidy inside I get bored about half way and kinda shove them in a little. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/Bondbill2k2/37116_449351577881_517857881_5583374_5576017_n.jpg
  7. I've downloaded this and reading up on it at the moment, there's alot of settings and it seems to over complicate a small task. Doesn't support MPEG it seems, files dont show up in the supported formats.
  8. I have some video footage in MPEG format a teacher wants to edit using movie maker before submitting for examination, the only issue is the current format is MPEG and the teacher is looking to use windows movie maker for editing (mainly just cutting parts out as it was captured from a tape) Could anyone recommend a video converter?
  9. signed up and shall download at home *ads it to ban list*

    Brink

I had high hopes from early trailers but im not even going to play it now. There is no proper campain, they single player is just the multiplayer maps on multiplayer scenarios with bad AI bots! This has also recieved some ofthe worst FPS reviews ive seen for a while, here is a proper good look at the game reviewd by people while playing it showing you all aspects of the game. Video review- Quick Look: Brink - Giant Bomb Written review- Brink (video game)
  11. I shall be trading in mortal kombat off this tonight Looks amazing, im a big fan of giantbombs reviews as they are honest and show proper gameplay and comment from the eyes of a gamer, not a critic and they cant get enough of it. I like the idea of having the true free roam seperate from the campain to show "look we dont just make games you go around killing everyone when your bored" and the black and white mode you can turn on in options Great job by the artists and game makers. Another 1st for Rockstar is the fact they are using a real world location with historical landmarks, the LA freeway aparntly is in one of the quests.....well the area they are beginning construction. Also alot of the gangs and gangsters in the story are realy names and linked . The tech used is amazing and they have actually filled a full blu-ray I heared the motion capture software used on the actors faces pulled around a GB of data per second when first made! Quick Look: L.A. Noire - Giant Bomb http://www.giantbomb.com/la-noire-video-review/17-4138/
  12. I'll be getting infamous as its great fun, played it round my mates and considered buying it last week! Little big planet is great, very different and endless levels with the online selection, shame its not little big planet 2 (yet to get that) and great for the inner geek / inventor e..g There are hundreds of copy right ridden levels out there too with huge amounts of DLC also often aimed at the inner geek child, marvel, xmen, metal gear, the incredibles etc..
  13. read some reviews on this yesterday, looks like great git, very nice UI. Always been a fan of android and having had a I-Phone 3GS, a G1 and G2/hero in that order my best phone has been the android units.
  14. Not had many issues with sophos beside the update setup being long winded and changing versions becoming a pain on clients and server.
  15. Toothpaste does work, you can buy BF2:MC for £2 anyway Free delivery too http://uk.webuy.com/product.php?sku=5030930040314
  16. Id always opt for samasung, all tv's in my house are aparnt from a 22" LG in my little brothers room. Not sure on my model but it has a couple of USB ports,a red tint to the screen surround and touch sensative front buttons. Its also Very loud for built in speakers I never have it above 18 and thats less then quarter of its max volume!
  17. Keith Lemon giving them air time, well the hoff is now on celeb juice VT round but Jedwood were on that new singing show with him.

  20. Ive been reading a few areas near me, pretty interesting. Shame theres so few pictures!
  21. Don't worry too much I had interviews at 4 schools last year before getting my job. I had no experience either, just a degree . Each school asked me back for final interviews me vs 1 other often out of 10+ from the first interview applicants. Lost out on experience each time tho.
  22. Little update on my progress btw http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/Bondbill2k2/20102011.jpg
  23. Make sure your eating at least 2500 cals per day and not going over your GDA for salt sugar and fat, do some weights and drink protein shakes or just milk even.
  24. I've ased the printers users (about 5 teachers in the department) do log any issues they have and email me or leave me a note or add it onto the helpdesk with any details they can e.g. time, format, amount of pages. Nothing yet!
