Last week we had a strange problem with students ICT coursework where videos (all in WMV) and audio inserted into powerpoint would no longer play (but had previously) and when users selected play they were just shown a white screen where the video should be. The videos play fine outside of powerpoint still and are located in their documents, when removed from the slide show then added again they still won't work. However when I moved the video file into another directory and added them again it works as I thought the path length might of been too long. Problem solved? No afraid not as today the exact same problem has occured including those who had the path and location changed. Does anyone know what could be causing this problem? Just found out its a 128 character limit on the path and im not sure why it would of worked before and now doesnt, maybe the path before the user logged off was relative and now its absolute?

Well my progress has slown since my last update on the 18th ive lost 2.5lbs (I weigh myself a number of times between Friday-Sunday in the morning and go on my average figure as scales are not 100% due to being very precise digital ones) but I havnt done ANY workout or exercise during the last 2 weeks, joining a 24hour gym tomorrow tho

We had the same issue on two of ours and replaced the PSU solved it so not sure what it is. Are you getting to POST even?

Last year my school had a video confrencing suite installed from Tandberg and its had very little uses beside some use between us techs and the council department for meetings and traning purposes. We are looking at using it for more education purposes, we also have a portable setup on a portable TV stand with VGA output, so today we have setup the portable unit in an english classroom on the projector and board speakers to the conference room, in that room kids are acting out characters from a book they have been studying in English lessons and people in the classroom can ask them questions about there character Kids love abit of tech! Ive also been looking at education confrenece calls which would be great for lesson purposes e.g. Nation history museum Does anyone have any other locations or places which offer this conference service? I know what you mean there! Had Hotmail isnt working and youtube isnt working from staff today....the youtube case was a single video url was blocked because it was caught by our word filter on the comments (these were both staff btw, pupils cannot access youtube)

Sorted it, the previous tech put a GPO on blocking google.co.uk proxy for some reason, and only on staff too.

I know the kids wouldnt eat it! At least they dont do choclate milkshake for breakfast and pizza at 8.15am!

Did you find a solution to this? We have a Sanyo plc-xe32 with the same issue, warning light flashs (the lamp replace bulb light is fine) and we cannot reset anything as you cannot get onto menus without it powered on

Well im trying to loose weight and the only things I have seen when ive walked past or been working in the hall (the seating area at lunch) the menu has been burgers and chips with a selection of sandwichs (which I can just bring my own or Tesco is a short 15min walk which I often do) and cheaper! Just come from the hall in the last 5mins and menu was up "chicken tikka, beef burgers, cheese burgers"

Its only on a staff account which dont have access to command prompt, log on as a tech or pupil and it will work fine.
