Does anyone have any recommendations for companies that could repair a MacBook Pro? I'd be interested in alternatives to Apple themselves due to the cost. The device has some kind of slight liquid damage to the keyboard... while the device works fine, the keyboard does not and probably needs replacing. I don't really fancy attempting it myself. Cheers people.

While Yodel aren't the best, I'd sooner have them (or DPD ideally) delivering my Amazon Prime stuff than Amazon Logistics!

We are having the issue too. I've spent ages trying to work out what is wrong now! Then I came across: GADS error: Connecting to Google App Server using admin credentials... - ClassThink.com As above, a known issue.

I just plugged some earphones in, and boom, it seemed to work. How odd is that? It's not the first thing you'd look at being the issue. Cheers for that, at least I can narrow down the troubleshooting a bit more (there has to be a proper fix, surely?).

I'm at my witts end with this... In IE, we are having issues with YouTube and video playback, or thereof the lack of! When trying to access any video, or live video stream (Such as Sky News), they will play but only for about 3-4 seconds before dropping off to a black static screen with the following error "An error occurred, please try again later. Learn more." (see below). Neither the error message or learn more link are helpful. YouTube works fine in other browsers, such as Chrome, so I'm sure it's an IE issue and not proxies or Internet related. Somewhat weirdly, if a video has an ad that plays before the main video, the ad will play without issues. I've been through IE's settings, reset them, tried all different kinds of security levels, trusted sites etc. Worth mentioning though, and something that I think may have started this issue was Iris' support asking us to turn off hardware rendering for video playback in GPO for IE. This has since been restored to the default setting in GP, and seems to make no difference. It also does this on newly imaged machines that couldn't possibly have been affected by that GPO change. Does anyone have any ideas? It's really starting to irritate me! Cheers! EDIT: It happens on Win 7 and 8.1 - the version of IE doesn't seem to make any difference.

I only wish good looking cars correlated with good cars. The Mclaren has been a great looker for many a season but not so wonderful on the track.

I'd probably put together something like this as a webpage. Much easier to get layout as you want, and you can use other logic, be it server side or client side logic, to load your data in depending on dates, days... or whatever you choose. Then I'd set Xibo to simply include that webpage in as a full screen region in a layout. I've used this approach to a few various things before and it seems to work well.

That's nuts. I'm pretty sure a lot of the viewers are, it's a very technical sport. The value Ted Kravitz brings to Sky's coverage is huge. The BBC are probably ready to wind up their F1 coverage completely in 2018. I don't know why the BBC bother with sport, when their heart is in it, it's fantastic, but when it's not, they may as well not bother, in my opinion. It's a shame that sports rights costs have gotten so crazily out of control - just look at what BT paid for football rights!

I'd love to embed that into Xibo - but it has an irritating modal popup. It would also be nice if I could work out how to make it go full screen.

I don't really miss Jordan. There was good chemistry between the BBC team prior to Sky cherry picking people, but that was lost, especially when Jake went to BT Sport. On his own now, it's not the same. DC is a great guy and I hope Sky pick him up one day - to replace Damon Hill, possibly? (Hill is just dull). The commentary on BBC is cringe worthy, but I think that's down to Edwards more than DC. DC and Brundle were a decent commentary team, though it clearly doesn't compete with Brundle and Crofty. I never understood why the BBC didn't put Crofty in the commentary box in the first place!

Just to hijack this a little... We have an limited number of external IP addresses so we cannot run this on an internal server and publish to the web... I am looking at an alternative way of doing SSO for Google Apps, Moodle, and potentially some of the Office365 services down the road, as well as our on-site Remote Apps server. Currently we have a Moodle plugin that does SSO to Google Apps, and Moodle doing straight LDAP authentication. I'd prefer a centralized sign on point, that could SSO to all of these. I understand ADFS is the tool for this problem, but, I can't run it internally as it wouldn't be accessible externally. Has anyone had an experience of doing this with Azure? I assume, from my limited knowledge, we'd need to set up some kind of Azure AD then spin up an ADFS instance?

I could never watch the BBC coverage now, it absolutely stinks. The Sky coverage really is superior. It's a shame - sports that BBC put proper effort into covering are normally really well done. It's just all the half efforts they do are really quite poor.

Hi All Just thought I'd ask on here and see if anyone who uses GADS has had a similar issue. I've had no issues with the setting up and configuring GADS, apart from that I keep having to authorize the OAuth token each time I open the configuration manager as it comes up as Not Authorized. It's almost like it doesn't save the OAuth token (it does - I can see it in the XML file). Has anyone had an issues like this? Do OAuth tokens have a short life span? The documentation isn't too bad, but it doesn't really touch upon this. Googling it doesn't seem to yield anything too helpful (which seems on par with any Google search related to Google Apps API stuff). I see older versions of GADS have a traditional fixed username/password authentication option, but Google now force the use of OAuth. Thanks for any help or input. :-)

+1 for AirServer here too. It works pretty well - it does occasionally crash, but for the most part, it's solid enough. We tried an Apple TV but had issues with it - plus - they are somewhat more expensive than an AirServer licence!

I'd liken it, in both ways, to a STB. I wouldn't say it's all that much different to a TiVo or Sky+ box. Perhaps a tiny bit louder, but not much. Let's put it this way, mine sits in the corner by the TV, HTK and Sky box and it's not really noticeable. Edit to add. There seems to be a bit of a community for these things out there.... I've seen people mentioning you can swap the fans out for near-silent ones. I never found the need too, though.

I love my Microserver at home - one of the most useful things I've ever bought. Only seems to cost about £35 a year to run too (electricity wise, on 24x7). Anyone who is on the fence with considering one, do it!

I can't believe this App is still broken and hasn't been updated. Shocking Microsoft, shocking... Time to look for an alternative, I think.
