  1. @mavhc @Tefters I fixed it, the account needed adding as an exclusion to a conditional access policy that blocks legacy authentication. As I had already enabled MFA on the account at the request of ESS I then had to enforce MFA in order to setup an app password, now it works in FMS using the e-mail and app password instead of the Office 365 password.
  2. @Michael In your bodge screenshot, what is the format of the mail server please? I can't figure out what should be there in place of the green highlighting. Is it nameofschool.co.uk.mail.....?
  3. @mavhc So at at first it was an LGfL firewall issue, couldn't TNC from the Finance PC to smtp.office365.com on port 587 but got that sorted. Within FMS itself, if I enter the connection details for Office 365 and my 365 username\password it works but doesn't work with any other account seemingly. I have no idea what could be different about my account compared to any others. ESS have said I need to enable MFA and set an app password on the account I am trying to use, done that but still no joy. Properly lost on this one.
  4. Good afternoon, Really sorry that this is like the third time I'm posting this but really struggling and ESS are just guessing their way through troubleshooting and blaming Microsoft or my internal setup. Has anybody out there got FMS working with 365 please? Thanks
  5. @Olliedawg Thanks, looks like SPF was done but not DKIM
  6. @djm968 @KK20 Apologies for the delay in reply, I've got a copy of the message now so I can try and run a trace or look at the header. I don't know if I've got SPF or DKIM setup, we use Office 365 but I guess I would need to check this with LGfL as our DNS and mail filtering is with them.
  7. Good morning, Probably not quite the right place for this post but one of our staff recently received an e-mail reporting to be from an internal account\address that was deleted sometime ago and I'm wondering if I've maybe got a bigger security issue here with an external threat actor or spoofing? Thanks
  8. Good morning, Can anybody recommend a source of GDPR training please? Thanks
  9. I'm revisiting this and following some of the advice from @chazzy2501 above but I wonder how the Authenticated SMTP part would work in a scenario like mine where the mailbox is shared so doesn't have a license but seemingly a license is needed to enable that setting
  10. Good morning, Hoping someone has got FMS working with Exchange Online and can tell me what I'm missing. Had some advice from ESS about how it needs an app password now but we don't use MFA on that account so I can't see the link. Thanks
  11. @MYK-IT Funny enough our Head of DT stopped me this morning to discuss Fusion updates, students aren't able to update themselves from the PCs they use but apparently this causes problems when they work on stuff at home that is created in a slightly higher or lower version.
  12. @Steve21 Sure, in Microsoft Entra admin centre>Identity>Devices>All devices>Device settings I switched on Enable Microsoft Entra Local Administrator Password Solution (LAPS)
  13. Good afternoon, Hoping somebody who has got LAPS working via Intune can tell me what I'm missing, I've basically got it switched on and can see the option per device to refresh the password but nothing happens. Thanks
  14. Turns out this was me being silly, I had exported the GPO and imported to Intune so it it was literally reading the quote marks from the policy and I just didn't edit.
  15. Good morning all, Just playing around with interactive logon messages and I notice that when setting the title there are quote marks automatically added. Assuming this is unavoidable unless the title just goes at the top of the message text? Anybody else experiences this? It looks a bit insincere having the quote marks on the title on screen. Thanks
  16. @andy_b Could you explain the "I examine the answer to one of the questions and then direct automate to use different email responses." bit to me please? Sounds like it might be what I want because I could examine the answer from the first question and then create two different responses with only the questions I need answers to from the branching. Thanks
  17. @andy_b @Brax If either of you are still following this I can confirm that the guidance in the link is working as intended so thanks for that but I wonder if either of you know about this possibility: My form has a lot of questions and branching so not every submission has an answer to every question, wondering if I can get the e-mail to only provide the answers to the questions that were filled out rather than having to include every question and get blank responses. Also it's not the most convenient that we have to type the question into the body of the e-mail (although we obviously only have to do this once for setup), wondering if there is a way for the content of the e-mail to automatically include the question and answer (if there was one). Thoughts? Thanks
  18. Good morning, Does anybody know if there is a way to receive an e-mail containing the actual responses to a Microsoft Form in the body of the text and not just a link to the results? Been trying to find out how to do this\figure it out for myself but no luck so far. Thanks
  19. @PotNoodleTech Well I did think of this and then felt silly when I couldn't actually find the folder.
  20. @dezt I have enabled Files on Demand but didn't know that about PowerShell so thanks for the tip. Going to try the advice given here by @DaveTheTech
  21. @mf13tch Yes, I did solve it via Intune, drop me a DM and I'll send you the screenshots of what I did and where to fix it. Thanks
  22. Good morning everyone, We recently migrated to OneDrive and as part of that I implemented GPOs on both the user and PC side for folder redirection but some users on some devices have an issue with slow logins at the 'Applying folder redirection' stage. At first I put this down to profile issues or maybe a first logon thing but now I'm not so sure and I wonder if there's something I'm missing. Thanks
  23. Good afternoon, We have a problem with restoring backups in Veeam from one server, Veeam say it's an environmental thing but I cannot see what I am missing. I get the error regarding the Admin$ share not being available but the account I'm using is a member of local administrators on that server so I cannot see why I'm unable to complete the restore process. Has anybody else encountered this with Veeam? All other servers restore just fine and I can ping the server in question from the Veeam server. Thanks
  24. @Koldov Just seen your reply and yes this is exactly it, funny enough my colleague reset and used a different profile for them under ASM which we found worked. Thanks again, such an important bit of information you have shared
  25. Good afternoon, We've got an issue with three of our Meraki managed iPads when it comes to taking videos, each will start recording for just a second or two and then stop. No messages or warnings, app just closes. A quick Google says to make sure there is enough storage space on the device, which there is so I'm wondering what else could be going on. Have reached out to Meraki who had a decent look but couldn't work it out so I don't think it's anything settings related. Thanks
