Hello I am having a problem deleting images from an Excel 2010 worksheet. This sounds simple enough the but worksheet was given to me and such I had no input on the design. Basically there are two images on the worksheet which I can see but not select, edit, delete or control in any way. Even deleting the cells\rows they appear to be in doesn't make any difference. I'll quite happily post the thing up here if anybody wants to take a look at it for me? Thank you in advance

Hello again It wouldn't be many envelopes at any one time, only 10-20 maximum. At the moment we use DL envelopes without a window and are trying to avoid the extra step of sticking a label on. Thankyou

Hello Can anybody recommend a printer capable of printing addresses onto envelopes? Had a problem recently with a Samsung creasing the envelopes because they were self seal so could it be an envelope problem? Thankyou

Hello A recent problem has occured where on some computers it takes roughly 30 seconds for the Start Menu to display the list of programs in All Programs. I have read somewhere that this can br caused by shortcuts which are no longer active? Could this really be the problem or are there any other suggestions? Thankyou in advance

I don't remember which version of Boardworks it was as it was in a previous job but I do know the machines were running Windows 7. I take it you don't have access to a newer version of office or an older version of Boardworks to test it. Is it not possible to download an older version of flash onto just one machine to test it?

Hello I have used Boardworks previously and never experienced any problems but that was with Office 2007. I gather by reading the Boardworks troubleshooting section that the newer versions of the software are designed to work with the newer versions of Office (07/10) so maybe the problem is there somewhere.

Hello When trying to print from Publisher 2003 I get the error about no printer being installed. The printer is attached via USB and works from other applications. I've read in other places that it can be as easy as changing the default printer then changing it back again... Has anybody else come up with a fix for this? Thankyou James

Where I am we have 2 Members of staff (me the technician and a network manager) to look after: 7 Servers 567 PCs/Laptops 71 Printers 9 IWB 55 Projectors 43 Switches 24 WAPS The visualisers still need to be counted...not to mention it's a school so theres SIMS and roughly 1250-1300 users to add to that equation

Hello Thankyou for all of the suggestions. The reason I thought it was a Windows 7 problem was because we have this software running on XP & Vista without problems. I tried out this Cameyo virtualisation software which looks like it could be a very useful tool although it didn't work on this occassion. For anybody who is interested I have now solved the issue: Having installed Izzy's Island right click on the shortcut Select properties Go to the compatibility tab and run it in 98/2000 mode for all users Thankyou

Hello I am running a piece of Sherston software called Izzy's Island on Windows 32 bit. Upon loading the program distorts the screen resolution of the desktop but goes on to run anyway, however upon exiting the screen resolution does not correct itself and the desktop remains super large. I've tried editing the options in the program to stop it running in full screen mode but it doesn't stick. All ideas welcome. Thankyou

Hello People on this forum have been very helpful so far with printer scripts and PowerPoint error messages so I might as well keep posting my problems : ) This time I am trying to set an HP 4025 Colour Laserjet printer to always print from tray 2. This type of printer has tray 2 at the front which slides out, fine no problem but tray 1 is at the side and for where the printer sits not accessible. Everytime the user of the printer prints anything, be if from an office application or off the web the little screen on the printer asks for paper to be loaded into tray 1 or you have to press the buttons to get the job to process from tray 2. Hello No the error message doesn't say anything about safe mode but I think you might be right about it being the presentation because nobody else had the problem and they all contained similar material.

Hello Does anybody have any suggestions as to why PowerPoint 2007 might kick out the following error message upon attempting to save: 'PowerPoint found an error that it could not fix. You should save presentations, close...' All I can say is that the file does contain a lot of images taken from google and other search engines if that helps. Thankyou

Hello I was hoping somebody might have a good script I could use for print sharing. The printer is attached to a machine running Windows Vista and needs to be accessed from another machine running Vista as well as 2 machines running XP. My plan is to put the script in the start up folder for all users so anybody who logs on can see the printer. Thankyou
