Oh - and Mrs mikeprice had her 2nd AV jab yesterday it was brought forward a week apparently whether you get the AV or the Phyzer version is simply based on which week you book your first jab for. I was trying to work out what formula/crtieria they were using - but it was more basic than that! Then obviously the second jab has to be booked for a week that uses the same one - hence her jab coming forward a week.

This just reinforces the fact that once we have got our own country sorted out - we really need to help get the rest of the world sorted out as well so that the reservoirs of virus in poorer - or worse run (yes - I know!) - countries get stamped down.

Anyway - back on topic (yes it is me my account hasn't been hacked) went out on my bike for the first time in days - found a heron swanning around and a Beluga (OK not the actual whale - but the name is on topic!) for the confused - it is the name of the planes that Airbus use to transport wings around Europe - it normally lands at Hawarden near Chester - but if the wind is strong and in the wrong direction they often divert to Liverpool and wait for better conditions.

Mrs mikeprice got a text yesterday saying she could bring her 2nd jab forward - just click on link etc etc hmm - could be dodgy so she rang the doctor's to check and it seemed OK so has been brought forward a week just me now and the world is our lobster!!!! as long as we don't fly - or go abroad

Robin in the garden little *** wouldn't keep still so I had to poke a stick through him to get the photo!! (OK - I didn't - obviously - didn't realise how it looked until I got it onto the laptop - and the other images were less colourful!)

Still some white stuff on the lawn - but very little - I suspect it will disappear once the sun gets to it Haven't been out yet - looks too cold!!

10 minutes ago I posted on another forum (I know - but it allows political stuff without frogging - and talks about bikes a lot) about how there has been no snow here in spite of other people nearby having snow. So now it is snowing and blowing a gale I think my computer has gone wrong - it is telling me it is April when it is clearly not!!!

Are you allowed to mention a railway that is in Nidd???? I'm sure that is against the rules

Weelllll actually if you get anything from McDonalds and then use the code on the receipt on their website to doa review then you get a free Big Mac next time and another code on the receipt to use again so - technically you can have free Big Macs for life so - no McDonalds are NOT making you pay for a Big Mac although a pedant could say that they never have MADE you pay for one - it is your choice

They make a lot of sense - especially with the increase in idiots on scrambler bikes recently not a lot to break on them unlike 'kissing gates' and such - which are also a real pain for bicycles!!

They use them a lot round here on cycle paths - so they are probably not there to deter cyclists - just stops cars and motor bikes and the like and forces bicycles to slow down bicycles do have to stop - there are various techniques to get through them depending on the size of the bike annoying thing is that some are slightly narrower than others - there is one near a nice local pub where my shoulders don't quite fit through facing dead forward - thus resulting in having to use a different technique

There might be a slight design problem with this gate?? which is brand new by the way - there has been one there for years but this is a new one the gap has stayed the same

Bike ride along the canals today - took some photos of some things - so I thought I would share them

When I got my first jab there were signs everywhere telling everyone that their next appointment would be in 12th May - same time - same place - everyone the same and we got a card with this printed on it as well my wife was just given a card as hers was done in a drive through (No we didn't get a free Big Mac!!)
