Well done is that even legal - mixing of multiple households and all that and, of course, basic privacy - what if it was the first time you had met your lover for 6 months!!!!! (OK- not me and you but some people are literally in that situation!) or a first date after months of zoom at best I would be checking the precise laws and thinking of reporting them or at least telling them they are operating illegally and giving them the opportunity to change

Straight through Utrecht, looking for a place to lay eggs and reproduce. Sometimes they have to wait a long time at the Weerdsluis, because the lock gates do not open often in the spring. We have come up with something for that. There is a camera under water at the lock. You can see the live images below. Are there any fish in the picture? Then press the fish doorbell. The lock keeper is alerted and, if there are many fish, can open the lock. This way you help fish through the canal. It can be a bit slow due to heavy usage - so I though I would post it here - which they may not thank me for anyway I will just perch here and watch - maybe they can scale the system up?

Went down to the high street today and it was nice to see loads of the shops open again - it has felt a bit dead there recently. Also good to see people obeying the social distancing guidelines and also the 'max people in this shop' notices on all the doors

Huh I used to live near Llandudno - eating chips on the prom was pretty much guaranteed to incite a seagull mobbing If I ever see that damn gull that stole my pie it is getting errr serious something Damnit - it was a pie!!!!! Oh - and anyway - when I jumped up after it and grabbed a half brick it dropped the pie and - of course - I ate it - well I might have broken off the bit where its beak might have been maybe and I seriously did NOT lob the half brick at the gull although the fact that I was teacher in the area at the time and the beach was quite crowded and the half brick MIGHT have missed the gull and flown on 'and the fact that there might have been a pupil - or ex-pupil - of mine may have been able to see might have entered my mind and anyway - it was probably also the bar steward that stole - I mean seriously swooped down - at speed - under the canopy and took my ice cream deliberately with malice aforethought and not just any old ice cream but one from THORNTONS!!!! so basically gulls bar stewards the lot of them errrr - whoops still - gulls eh

The ones I have seen open are the ones I would want to avoid The sort were noisy people go and have 'fun' After a year of not going near people - and being an introvert this just ain't a huge problem - I am not sure I want that!! I leave it until I have had the 2nd vaccine plus a week or so so that'll be a while yet - about about a month

Went past a few pubs today on my bike all closed except one - which seemed to have a lot of jolly noises coming from the beer garden not sure social distancing was at the forefront of their minds from the little I could see!

My first thought was clearly "WT*" but after that I did think it might be a cab in an area that was flooding and this was a quick 'fix' to save it not sure I would have done that but ......

GOOD NEWS The pandemic is over - we can all go back to normal!!! this is based on the chippy this evening - 3 customers and I was the only one with a mask CLEARLY I was getting it wrong I have said it before - but when we came down from the trees we should have been more selective about who came down with us!

No snow here but apparently it was snowing in Delamere forest according to Mrs mikeprice's son and the grandkids went for a bike ride once the forecast finished predicting rain (which never came but it did go quite dark) and it was pretty cold and windy - but no rain or anything

ANother bike ride along the canal - with a camera took this of a heron on the far bank just after I took the shot - it saw a fish and stabbed at it but the camera was busy saving the image and resetting as soon as it was ready I just pressed the button - no time for proper aiming, framing etc etc came out like this pretty good considering!

Mrs mikeprice had her second jab on Thursday - she now has a sore arm again and a red and slightly raised patch on her arm where the needle went in just like before She says it is just like the first time - but as she is moaning less I am assuming it is a bit better!!

As a cheap idea you could keep the trolley in a section where there is very little wifi signal and put a seperate access point in it - then somehow check what MAC addresses are connected via that access point OK - not exactly a perfect solution butit could be made to work if you have a low signal store room an old access point maybe
