Coronavirus: General discussion (see opening post for rules)

Thank - no it was the physer and it was so mild as to not be really an ache anyway - it's gone now and still OK or - anyway - as OK as I was before!!! -
In addition The recent government announcement that gas boiler will be discontinued is a real pain When I moved in here (6 years ago) I updated the heating to a new efficient boiler and went from a hot water cylinder to a combi boiler as suggested to be more efficient and hence eco friendly now I will have to replace the boiler at just about the time that they can't be replaced any more! and they now say I should have stuck with a hot water cylinder! I understand the reasons but it is annoying Which is why I want to start looking at possibilities now to move forward over time It would help if teh government gave out incentives to convert over time - I have seen some mutterings (can you see a muttering???) but nothing concrete

Read something about this recently and the overall view was that ASHP (or Ground Source) was best considered as part of an overall plan including something to generate the power e.g. Solar or Wind plus a battery hence use the generating system to produce the power to power the pump - hence zero cost after installation. I am thinking of getting (yet another) quote for solar to see how things have changed - if I do I will include some sort of heat pump and report back Look like there is a small company near here that installs Solar and ASHP - I will see if I can contact them!

Quotes like that make me think there could be anything in there - which is what it means Marketing people who do things like this should be dragged out by their braces and handed over to @witch

I have no clue whether it is in an way connected to the vaccine - correlation/causation and all that but I had a headache for the last 3 days - VERY mild - more like discomfort/pressure but not really pain a such which is very unlike me but it is now about 2 weeks (OK - 2 weeks on Wednesday) since the second vaccine. nothing dramatic - but as the effects build up over 2 weeks to get to full effectiveness that it COULD be connected or I could have just had a bit of a headache -
Is wifi 6 the version that links to 5G and activated the microchip in the Vaccine????? asking for a friend actually - saying it because that is next I have lived through CRT VDUs cause miscarriages/cancer/blindness mobile phones cause cancer/madness digital mobile phones cause brain damage the phone masts kill everyone who lives within x yards of them (where x is a number from0 to 'whereIlive'_ 3G cause Brain damage and cooks the brain No - wait 0 it's 4G that does that now all the 5G stuff and the link in the vaccine so - I think - just don;t tell anyone about the upgrade that doesn;t need to know!!!!

got my second jab today or so I assume - nice bloke called Gordon - was wielding a syringe and walking round to my left arm so I looked intently at a brick in the wall to my right - boring really - Just Another Brick in The Wall) felt a small prick ( the old ones are the best!!) in my left arm and he said it was all done basically minimal evidence and - on top of that - mobile phone coverage is still pretty rubbish and broadband spp#eed has not improved I don;t think it is working -
@witch?????????

Well done excellent parenting!!! I must work harder with our Grand-Daughter although I proudly remember my daughter (about 8ish) once destroying an whole Anglo Saxon hut of very woke people with one of longest and baddest shaggy dog stories that I ever told her total innocence perfectly story based delivery evil delivery of the punchline I have never been so proud her mother was NOT pleased wish I could remember the story but it was a long time ago and sooooooo bad that it was probably frog worthy

When I worked for a big business I had a PC on evaluation for a short time It was quite a good PC when we got it - loaded up with the software we were supposed to evaluate after 9 or 10years we still had it and it had been relegated to a terminal emulator tester then we got a letter asking for it back and threatening to charge us at the full price of a new one if it was not returned!! They actually went to expense of sending a courier to pick it up even when we offered to keep it for free (no WEE stuff in those days and we chucked stuff out quite often)

Hmm 7/10 2 due to not reading the question! 1 due to being unsure of the correct option - I didn't know there was an authorised way of writing the plural of a letter but I would have written it the correct way so I chose the other way as I suspected it was a trick!
