Had a couple of days away in Llandudno because we needed to see someone there For those with a long memory - I used to live there. Took this on a walk along the front in the early morning Don;t be fooled by the placid calm exterior quietly paddling along looking like a duck THIS IS AN EVIL THIEVING AGGRESSIVE TERRORISING BAR STEWARD!!!!!! All the damn gull in Llandudno are!! they haven't changed! might even be the one that stole my pie on the front when I lived there or the one who swooped under the awning I was under and knicked my Ice Cream or the one of the ones that tries to steal my chips on numerous occasions probably related to some of the ones that used to swoop around a school further along the coast - when I used to work there - and after the end of break turned the quad into something between a scene Hitchcock had to delete from 'The Birds' for being too scary - and a gull version of Perl Harbour!!!!! p.s. I don;t like gulls (p.p.s. have we done the - 'there are no such thing as seagulls - they are gulls' thing - or was that a 'conversation' I had on another forum?????)

Just finished the blocking of marketing emails thread What a ride!!! like one of those book you expect to read a few pages of then drop but find you can;t put it down!! felt a bit sorry - maybe - for the OP by the end if it was genuine then he may have happily followed someone up a creak and suddenly found the current was greater than expected and the advertised propulsion was a paddle not a motor and the canoe was leaking and after he posted the natives started lobbing rocks!!!!

STILL reading Wheel of Time apparently got about 126 hours left to go!!! posting this because I have discovered that Amazon Prime has made a TV version and series 1 is complete - series 2 is in progress They were touting as 'the New Game of Thrones" - but then everything with a sword in it is being touted that way might be tempted to nab a new free trial of Amazon Prime when it comes out although based on the casting and some of the plot summaries I may just end up shouting at the Telly!!!

Whenever I have had a new member of staff starting in a school I always try to get a map for them ALl schools have them for Year 7s - but they never think to give them to new Staff When I have started in school I always have to go to reception myself and ask for one - which normally causes immediate confusion! and then a sudden realisation that it is not such a bad idea!! especially for an IT Tech who could be called to any and every room.
