Is anyone concerned about this? How can we ensure none of our services / accounts will be affected? Microsoft will soon begin enforcing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for all Azure resource management actions. The company has announced that this change will go into effect on October 1, 2025. In a support document, Microsoft detailed that the mandatory MFA enforcement will apply to Azure CLI, PowerShell, SDKs, REST APIs, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, and the Azure mobile app. This enforcement is a part of Microsoft’s Secure Future Initiative (SFI) that launched in November 2023. SFI is a multi-year strategy aimed at embedding security into every aspect of how the company designs, builds, and operates its technologies. It is built on three core principles: Secure by Design, Secure by Default, and Secure in Operations. SFI spans six engineering pillars, including identity protection, network security, threat detection, and rapid vulnerability remediation. “Starting October 1, 2025, MFA enforcement will gradually begin for accounts that sign in to Azure CLI, Azure PowerShell, Azure mobile app, IaC tools, and REST API endpoints to perform any Create, Update, or Delete operation,” the company explained on the Microsoft 365 Admin Center. “Enforcement applies to all Azure tenants in the public cloud and all users. This includes automation and scripts using user identities (instead of application IDs).”

Occasional stalling logon script, during printer setup.
kennysarmy replied to kennysarmy's topic in Windows 11
Another incident this morning. Basically the con2prt program just refused to do anything for any logged on user (even admins) The fix was to remove the PC from the domain and re-add it, then it worked fine. Not sure how to troubleshoot this further and find the underlying issue though -
Occasional stalling logon script, during printer setup.

Nothing obvious, I've amended the logon scripts to show a bit more details by removing @echo off Tried two suites this morning with a reactivated account (someone who left in the summer) and every PC logged on fine of course -
I've just logged in to 24 computers using ABTutor in a suite of Win11 PC's. We use CON2PRT to map printers based on the name of the PC. Occasionally the logon script will stall. Out of 24 PC's I've just attempted to logon to, one has got "stuck". Anyone with any ideas as to how I can troubleshoot this? If I close the logon script down, logon proceeds as normal but obviously without the printers being setup.

Just so I understand. Smartphones can have set zooms like x3 x10 which would be optical zooms, effectively using a different lens for each magnification. So if you then pinch so say zoom in past x3 to say x5, does it switch to the x10 lens and crop?

I've just seen students searching for "core ball" and seen them click the returned links, the page opens and they are able to waste time playing the game, if I test with a test account I get the same results, with the game open and pressing to refresh the page gets blocked. What's going on, shouldn't smoothwall block the page on launch? I've had to block the search term "core ball" but this is less than ideal. Can anyone else with a smoothwall on-site box confirm the above behaviour. This is the link directly to the game. https://www.arealme.com/coreball/en/ We have https://www.arealme.com blocked But my searching for core ball and following the link returned by Google the site is accessible @tom_newton

Great. All installed. Now Smoothwall is causing this error : "Please confirm that TCP port 443 (HTTPS) and the domain - *myviewboard.com are allowed in your network setup and then try again." OK when I bypass the Smoothwall, myviewboard.com is unfiltered. Call opened with Smoothwall. -

Thanks, Should install behaviour be left on User or can I amend it to System so it installs for everyone?
