The Gentleman - 7/10 I enjoyed this film more than I thought I would. Sure I had some problems with it, like unnecessary language for the sake of unncessary language, but the performances were generally quite good and I enjoyed the story.

Yeah, I got the same feeling. I initially thought they were the same species until I just Googled The Runaway Bride and saw the Racnoss queen from that episode. I am disppointed that they used such a likeness, it just seems quite unimaginative.

Do you guys have supported devices are students allowed to use anything? No, our BYOD is an open network with a captive portal (using RADIUS for AD credentials) and no HTTPS inspection. How do students submit work? They just log on to a school computer to do that, or it's on OneDrive, they can share/email it from their phone. Can staff monitor their screens? No, we don't have control over personal devices. What do you do about printing and applications please? We don't offer any printing support over BYOD. Do you do any other “neat tricks” that could enhance T&L please? No tricks. However you need to be aware that students can install VPN apps on their own devices and completely bypass your school filtering. It's an issue we've been facing for years now. If a student joins the BYOD network, they can just initiate their VPN and have unrestricted access to the Internet (much like if they used their data). VPN apps seem to be able to go through our Smoothwall, bypassing the captive portal and all filtering.

We've been using Class Charts with SIMS for a few years now. Our staff are very happy with it and their support has generally been excellent.

I was going to link Corridor Crew too! I only discovered these within the past few months and I've enjoyed watching through their videos and on their other channel, it's been insightful!

We had some Ricoh MFDs on a three year contract from 2015-2018 and they broke down quite a lot, though we had printed over a million copies on each of the three main staff printers by the end of the contract. We had an engineer on-site every few days towards the end of the contract. We now have some Kyocera MFDs on another three year contract from 2018-2021 and they don't break down anywhere near as much, however they still do from time to time and admittedly our printing volume appears lower now. We must have an engineer on-site once every two weeks now. I expect that to increase as we get towards the end of the contract in 2021 though. For both contracts we have had a automatic ordering software installed to send a replacement when a toner goes below a certain threshold. It makes life so much easier and reduces staff stress because they don't have to wait a couple of days for a replacement to be ordered, delivered and replaced. I think a lot of the reliability issues come down to volumes of printing and general misuse, such as scanning multi-documents with staples, glue or blutack. Slamming doors or being oo aggressive removing paperjams.

I've heard so many good things about that game. I regularly listen to the Giant Bombcast and they spoke highly of it.

Does it include any images or footage of cruelty?

Yeah, I noticed some of the obvious places, like going through archways/trenches/tunnels where it goes completely dark, or where the camera pans past a tree that is the full height of the frame.

Get him to shadow you and ask him his thoughts before you troubleshoot an issue and maybe go through some of your old tickets and provide your insight into things. A newbie is going to like all the flashy stuff to begin with, like a behind the scenes of the IT infrastructure, classroom management (Impero/NetSupport), server room, etc. We found it hard when we had a volunteer, especially a previous student because we can't give any admin access, since he still knew other students in the school. It would be great if we had a volunteer in the middle of a large deployment of hardware. That's what really got me into this world during my apprenticeship, upgrading the Dell machines from 64MB RAM to 128MB, cleaning them out, re-imaging them drive by drive using IDE parallel cables and a master drive. Obviously a lot more is automated and easier these days, but it's the techie stuff that they'll enjoy.

Yeah, I thought that at a specific scene in the film, but all you hear in reviews and stuff is one shot. There's a BTS shot with him running along the trench line and it's impressive managing all that, with the extras, practical effects, camera work, CGI in post, etc.

Did you build the XML file from the version of Winows you're deploying it to? I found that I had an XML file I made in 1809 - and both the Start Menu and pinned items worked fine. When I moved to 1903, the Start Menu section was working but the pinned items didn't. The only way to get both working was to re-created the XML document using the export command on 1903. As far as I am aware, the GP only prevents users from pinning/removing items. The XML will still force your specified items. Hah. Though it does have some hallmarks of Bethesda like zoomy face when you chat to an NPC, it's like an episode of Peep Show. Also the post-game slide show with commentary about your choices and how they affected the game.

Just finished The Outerworlds and I enjoyed it. It plays very much like a Bethesda game with less bugs and better writing. Admittedly the first half of the game is better than the latter, but I enjoyed it anyway. Especially since it's on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which I got three months for £1. I now want to play Gears 5 via Xbox Game Pass, but when I click the Install button in the Microsoft Store - nothing happens! Despite I'm signed in, the pass is still active and this is exactly what I did when installing The Outerworlds! The Microsoft Store is a pile of garbage.

1917 - 9/10 Really enjoyed this film. It's had a lot of hype for being a "1 shot" and when it started, I was constantly on the look out for the hidden cuts. But after 10-15 minutes or so, you're fully in the film and stop looking for them (mostly). Some good short parts for some great actors through the film too. I would definately recommend it. Little Women - 8/10 I also really enjoyed this film. I didn't really know much about it before going in, other than it is a story about four sisters. If you want to see a film with some of the best young actors at the moment, this is the film for you. Saoirse Ronan, Timothée Chalamet and Florence Pugh were great.

I doubt there will be a change for us as we only purchase/use SCCM and SCEP, not any of the other System Center products.

We're also on OVS-ES and we pay about £400 per year. Our licensing model is based on FTEs, of which we only have about 75. I suspect your reseller has made a mistake and used the device model instead of FTE model. I can't remember the terminology, but Microsoft have changed the licensing model to move from teachers to all employed staff that deal with students directly, so that includes us support staff too, which brings the pricing up a little.

Our configuration is all rack mounted and consists of 2x HP DL360 (each with Xeon E5-2630 v3 and 196GB RAM) VMware hosts connected to 2x HP 2040 SANa via 2x 10GbE trunk. The MSA has 12x 600GB 15K SAS drives (split into 2x RAID5 pools) that the server OS drives live on and 12x 3TB SATA drives (also split into 2x RAID5 pools) that our data drives reside on. We've had this configuration now since August 2015 and the performance is still good with nothing for me to complain about. If I needed to spec and replace this setup, I'd go down the same route with separate hosts/storage.
