All were fully patched and the latest av defs installed. So far MalwareBytes and the AV programs haven't found anything to delete in safemode. Anyone else tackling them atm?

This has gone beyond that point and it's a take it apart job to get at the platters.

A member of staff has a well and truly borked HDD from her PC at home and it contains all her data. We've tried everything here and it's a job for a specialist data recovery company by the looks of it. Who do you use and can recommend? She knows it's going to cost an arm and a leg.
