Worth trying a powered one if these are long runs to projectors you may well need a powered one to ensure no drop off.

I'd not be so confident, they were saying in events and meetings I went to with vendors and MS back in the early days of Teams that the VVX's would be fine with Teams when asked and now in reality yes they function but its basic function only so you need to move to the new Teams hardware to actually do much. Poly were very much VVX will upgrade to Teams no issues etc...whilst they have a migration "kit" / trade in options etc that isn't strictly an upgrade as I would see it as its send back the old phone get a new different one. The other item that is making me less confident of any of the teams phones from any make being buy and forget, like the legacy PBX ones have generally been, are they run Android to run the Teams software, at what point will they pull support for that Android build and say its not upgradable and thus they are useless and as this is all cloud you cannot just not upgrade until budgets permit etc... I'd like to find they go on and on but I just feel less confident at the rate of change and needs that in a few years the 1st gen ones will be non-supported and probably non-functional resulting in a regular expense on changing handsets. With any legacy style PBX I've not had to change handsets every 5 years they just go on and on and on usually so it is a worry for budgets that you need to budget possibly to change all your handsets every 5 years say compared to every 10-20 years, given many legacy style PBX's you could, if taking the same make, keep handsets and just change the main controller so phones could have done even longer.

If the disable doesn't work could you glue a panel over it rather than jamming the port?, I have done that with silicone sealant as the glue as it will stick well but just pulls off but would probably deter someone enough and not damage it. You could also hot glue gun a cable into the port and lock the end away / fill that with glue perhaps? The hot glue gun glue pulls off so again could be removed at end of use. The firm you lease from may also have some ideas / agree to work with you on the issue if you have a good relationship with them

As @gtg93 said its a default Huawei app, it will want a chunk of access as it can do Huawei cloud backup like Google but to Huawei's systems and you can use the Huawei cloud storage etc... Does she have a Huawei phone @Dos_Box?

Buy Cheap Buy Twice I had Kyocera on one site the vendor swapped them out for Toshiba at there expense as they literally had to have an engineer on-site twice a week to keep the Kyocera going in year 2 of ownership that experience was enough to ensure I never touch any print kit from them again.

The HP 840s are very nice and have nice docks. Also they have the HP Sure view display which is a tick for gdpr / privacy. They also have things like the x360 which is lighter and even lighter still is the Dragonfly that's sub 1kg!

Why would you be sending from o365 if you have moved over? If this is an accident / someone forgets put a transport / mail flow rule to block / reject any outbound mail to help stop people doing it. Why its happening I would guess that Microsoft are going we have that domain don't do external look ups so it's in effect an "internal" mail from your o365 to say Hotmail.com email so that's why it's working. What bounce back are you getting to your Google one when emailing Microsoft services? Is it that you have forgot to change some dkim or spf records over perhaps? Have you turned off the mail stuff in o365 if you have now moved over?

One question if they are managing the whole process is around patching / backup. I am fairly sure they will use a CMS and Plug-ins they will need regular patching to ensure they don't get hacked, this can sometimes give rise to re-coding to make plug-ins work again etc (not always but sometimes). Will they have backups in the event it all goes badly wrong? Restore time? What about load testing / balancing if you use it for Snow Day messages and you have 100's of hits at 7am and its on server with other clients they have perhaps will it reach a limit / fail? If you have any forms / data collection on your site you should also consider GDPR concerns / checks and ensure that you have satisfied them This should all be in the contract you sign not just an email as if say the CMS is owned and data is stolen which is covered by GDPR, the ICO will be after you but if your contractual terms are right you can then drag them into this along with you.
