Lync is great for that stuff and if you have Office 365 could be an easy win. Skype is a bit evil with firewalls and ports at times so be warned to test it well first (that is unless MS haven't re-written it all and made it a much improved product in recent times for that behaviour)

Fully Agreed it took me hours to read through all the blasted policies we were reviewing and adopting, one of them was about 50 pages long and a small font I think we had about 50 to sort one meeting as loads came up for review and re-adoption fortunatly most hadn't changed or were just LA ones and we adopted LA without too much concern just filling the blanks in for "school name" "heads name" etc...

Can highly recommend @Net-Ctrl for Wired and Wireless work Did some lovely projects with them including a complete network re-design with new switching to go with Ruckus wirless allowing BYOD across the site and it was perfect

Bell System maybe worth checking if your fire alarm can assist, some will take an input that can do the job which worked well for us it made a different tone to the actual fire alarm and did the job nicely.

As a user of aforementioned DLR daily I can confirm that DLR has no pre-planned maintenance for the BETT show this year and DLR Trains are running to 99% reliability in the last period If I2I coughed up some ££ DLR will put extra shuttle trains on to get you from West Ham to Custom House station, staff at key stations en-route to assit the bemused traveller and general information at stations. This does cost the event organiser and they have to talk to Serco about it in advance... hope they did this year as it needed it. I have seen how well it works and it works well with other huge ExCeL events but not seen any posters about that yet

Please I hope they do as I need a start menu as toucheyness is great for touchey things not laptops that are non-touch and desktops that are non touch. Oh and can we have a real interface back on Server OS as well as we all run touchscreen KVMs right..?

So do you not have 2 boot images one for when your doing X86 and one for doing X64? I always had two boots and ensured I matched the OS to deploy with the boot image.

I had these - Vitai 8800 from that firm and they are licensed and were very good and covered our two sites and worked well when the users actually used them correctly. Shouting at them and near enough eating the radio doesn't help with the quality of your voice....

A google of the error you get has many many causes from faulty disks, ram and BIOS problems which seem to be a more common reply to the issue. Are all the machine the same batch? If so you could have been unlucky and got a duff batch. No harm in trying one and seeing anyway.
