There were numerous articles months ago about the default font changing in Office. I think the font eventually chosen was called Aptos. I notice it's available in Office, but not the default. Just wondered if it's actually changed for anyone? Not particularly important in the grand scheme of things, but it's nice to have a change!

Just had this exchange with Copilot in Windows 11. (See screenshot). It was actually 12:31pm when I asked! Even so, it's answer is completely wrong! I appreciate it's still in Preview, but it is a bit concerning that Copilot will be the basis of lots of new security features and it can't do basic time calculations! I've been a bit disappointed with it in general so far. I can accept it making mistakes, that is expected, but the integration with Windows seems almost non-existant. If you find something it can do, all it does is pop up the button to allow you to do it yourself, rather than just doing it. It seems it responds more like a dictionary or encyclopeadia than an assistant. Questions like: What is my IP address, just give a definition rather than a useful answer. Maybe these are just slow steps due to privacy concerns. I wonder if we need a new Forum category to discuss all things AI related?

Hi All, Just wondering, is there a link that I can use on a Smoothwall, when logged on as a user, that will show me if Smoothwall has correctly authenticated me? I know if I go to a blocked site then it can say who I am, but I'm struggling with a user who isn't getting anything blocked, so I want to see if the Smoothwall knows who is logged in. Thank you.

Hi All, Just a quick question about the correct way to handle an updated version of an application. For example, I want to update all workstations to the latest version of Cloud Drive Mapper. Until now I've always just created a completely new application and put the version number in the details. Should I actually be using a single application and putting new versions into 'Deployment Types'? Thanks.

Just received the following email from ESS, so it looks like Sims Connected is about to change in some way, but reading this, the Third Party Connector stuff will stay the same: Dear .... Hi All, I've done a number of searches on Purview, for the purpose of SARs. It usually produces way more data than I want to sift through so trying to improve my search technique. For example: I want to search for a staff code which is: HEM What is the correct way to format this in the search so I only get HEM on it's own, and not part of anything else? I don't want to see 'them', or 'themselves', or any other combination. I've tried: HEM "HEM" " HEM " But it doesn't seem to make any difference to the number of results. Can anyone advise on the correct way to do this? Thank you.

This is our one. Not a countdown as such. Just pops up five minutes before the session, and shows a big clock with a moving second hand. Background changes to red when they are late, and it shows for another two minutes. We use Risevision, which is a web based display software. Easy to use, but I did have to basically construct this myself. It's a static jpeg, that is overlaid by a webpage/javascript clock which runs from our Intranet sever. The clock just shows the current time. I can share the code for the clock if anyone is interested, but it's not my own code. I found it online a year or so ago so I won't take credit.

Can anyone confirm to me, as an Educational customer, I should be able to use the 'Custom Install' option? If I use this link: https://www.autodesk.com/education/edu-software/ then I see all my available software. If I go to the 'All Products and Services page I get: No products available. Either you haven’t purchased any products or your organization hasn’t assigned you product access. If I go to Custom Install I get: Create Package button > Loop back to blank 'All Products and Services' page As far as I understand, the 'Custom Install' page is essential to make a silent install package, but it doesn't seem to work for educational users, or is it just my account that is broken? I've just realised that some Teams can share with Anyone and some can't! No idea why or where the setting is.

Hi, It seems that our teachers are not able to share a file from Teams using the Anyone option. It is greyed out, and says: Your organisation is preventing you from selecting this option. However, I've looked at the Sharepoint settings and they all seem to be set to allow sharing with 'Anyone'. I've checked the settings on the Global page, and the individual site page. Both are set to allow sharing with Anyone. Anyone got any ideas where else to look? I can't see any Teams policies blocking it. I don't necessarily want all staff to be able to share to Anyone, but I'd like to at least be able to control it by group. Thanks.

Hi All, Just getting started with inTune. Quick question before I get started. Which portal should I use? Intune for Education: https://intuneeducation.portal.azure.com or Intune Admin Center: https://endpoint.microsoft.com or both? If I do something in one is it reflected in the other? Don't want to waste my time setting stuff up, only to find I'm learning a portal that is already deprecated! Thanks.

Can anyone else confirm if it is affecting hosted / connected Sims? Do they use Azure servers? Ours is working very intermittently, and their status page appears to have gone completely! Causing chaos with cover.

What version of Windows are you running? I think it stopped working with Win 11 22H2, and also a Windows Update on older versions of Windows: KB5011048.
