You could use Cat6 and use CCTV Baluns which will give you COAX and power at either end. Not sure on distance.

It may be a Thermistor problem ? Anything like this one in the below video ?

The you'll agree that they are the most solid and reliable switch that you could come across... and they aren't all that expensive either. I cant remember the name of the supplier that I buy Juniper kit form now.

I've got a 6 year old Indesit Dishwasher, its got more parts on it from ebay than you could care to imagine lol, I think I've re-conned it. Same with my Indesit tumble-dryer although I wouldn't have another one of those as this is the second time the element / heater module has gone and I've replaced it this time only lasting a few weeks and trips the elctrics. Tumble-dryer is heading for a skip. Id give it a go fixing it and see how it goes if you can get the bits cheap.

I believe you can get 10GBe GBICS for them.... althouh it may be the slightly higher model that does 10gb.... Look them up they are good switches.

This big white case: you can see how old it is by the style, size and general design... but what a case wish I could find another!! Stuck some Icydocks in it and its now a nice large backup box!! Retro... Edit: Quite why its on its side I have no idea!

If you have 5 and your going to virtualize them onto one then I would use another as a replication just incase the one server you use for Hyper-V falls over.

Yes, I have a Quad core server 24GB RAM 4TB of space in RAID config, running Server 2012 Data Center and using Hyper-V for some remote desktops.... And testing purposes.

Why not build VM's and port forward port 3389 for remote desktop ? Obviously changing the port numbers.

To be fair what I'd do is go through each account - back up the data and create A brand new roaming account for each user... don't restore the data just make sure things like Email and Office are working... Then - when they ask were is such and such a file give it to them. Id take the opportunity to make this a general cleanup. If they want data then restore all of the data. Obviously Id keep the data backed up somewhere else for a while.

Hi all, Wonder if anyone can shed some light... Just been to buy a new battery for my car except its not showing up on databases as the correct one... DVLA has the correct details but garages and the like its showing up as a totally different car.... Am I to be worried here ? If I put my car reg in on these free car checkers I dont get my car ? Comes up as a Skoda Fabia... ? Mines a Citroen Xsara Picasso Is this worrying or has some sort of information database got it wrong ? Thanks all
