fairm010 replied to beancole's topic in Wireless Networks
You any further with this? I'd like to know too! -
Updated last night. I'm in.
-
IIRC it is not possible as brightness is a hardware based command. Unless someone has found a way round this, which I'd like to know too!

Have you remove the part in web.config that says <---Remove for IIS8 users---> or something along those lines?
-

Xibo not running Javascript
fairm010 replied to fairm010's topic in Internet Related/Filtering/Firewall
Any help on this one? -
Even then, there is no way to my knowledge for malware to interact with the HAP site, let alone store login details etc. I dont think HAP is your suspect here.
-
No that wouldnt be possible, unless you have .exe files allowed through HAP?

I am trying to embed a twitter widget in Xibo and it will not work! I have the embed code saved in a .htm file on the desktop of the display PC, that opens just fine after I ticket "Allow content from My Computer". I have narrowed it down to the fact that Xibo is not loading the javascript for the widget. Here is my code: Tweets by @school_name !function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0],p=/^http:/.test(d.location)?'http':'https';if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src=p+"://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js";fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document,"script","twitter-wjs"); Please help, it is open eve tonight and I'd quite like this working!

Add an Image to Corporate signature in Exchange 2010
fairm010 replied to Kawlindakew's topic in Enterprise Software
You'd need to make it an externally accessible image. For example I host the image at schoolname.co.uk/images/footer.jpg then http://schoolname.co.uk/images/footer.jpg -
You do, externally, Surfprotect is your upstream proxy. I use it here.

Contact EXA to see if they can do this on your Stormshield / Netasq.

If you are giving to staff make sure they sign an agreement that you will not provide support for them and they are received as seen. We had staff ask me for support with old school hardware and got eggy when I said no!

I had this once. Turns out the teacher had set a block internet policy which puts a non existent proxy in blocking all internet traffic. Check your AB Tutor internet policy!

Yeah I just tries it and it asked to connect the device. Stupid Apple, assuming their products cannot be lost!

Pretty sure you select the missing device in Configurator and click Devices > Unsupervise making the license available although I've not had to deal with this yet touch wood.
