Wireless Casting Solutions for Chromebooks
its_sam replied to its_sam's topic in AV and Multimedia Related
Thanks! I've just signed myself up for a demo. Would love to hear any other recommendations if anyone has any. -
Hi everyone, We’re looking for a simple, affordable way to wirelessly cast from Chromebooks to projectors or interactive touchscreens. Currently, classrooms use HDMI cables, but the teachers want the freedom to move around the room whilst still presenting. Chromecast would have been ideal but these have now been discontinued. Appreciate any recommendations!

Okay I'm sure we could replace the back door locks ourselves. Do you have the missing shelves to make it up to a 30 bay? When could we come and collect?
-
Fantastic, thank you! Are you able to send a few pictures of the trolley please? Presumably all in good working order and is it lockable with keys?

Anybody looking to get rid of a laptop trolley in the Hampshire area? Happy to collect.

Hello All, I am looking for a laptop charging trolley and was wondering if there was anybody in the Hampshire area looking to get shot of one? Ideally looking for 20-30 bays and needs to be lockable. Many thanks!

Thanks sted, that sounds like a good place to start!!

Our student computers are locked down to such an extent they are unable to install drivers via plug and play. This becomes very annoying when they decide to unplug any usb devices such as keyboards and mice which then fail to work when plugged back in. We have to login using the domain admin account in order for it to install the required drivers through windows update. They've now become wise to this and are using it as an excuse for not getting on with their work! Can anybody tell me how to resolve this please?

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but I was just wondering if you ever managed to get to the bottom of this? We are also experiencing issues with Sibelius 8 crashing at random intervals.

Hi Jon, I know this is a fairly old thread now but I was just wondering if you had any of the cables left over from these AVB378 whiteboards? I have the whiteboard but no cables to make it interactive!

I have an ActivBoard 378 IWB but no cables! Does anybody have any spares or know where I can purchase some from?

Thanks andy_b and Bedders, very much appreciated. I now need to work out the number of consecutive drops from week to week. For example, my consecutive fails column at the end needs to display "none" if there have been no changes, "1" if there has been one drop and "2 or more" if there have been two or more consecutive drops. I really hope that is clear. Thanks again!

I have a spreadsheet with a number of columns each representing a new week. I would like to find the percentage change between the two most recent weeks without having to change the formula each time. I am able to find the percentage change fairly easily, using the method in the link below, but I do not know how to select the two most recent weeks only https://exceljet.net/formula/get-percent-change

Can anybody tell me if it is possible to disable the print preview window in Google Chrome via Group Policy and force the system print dialogue instead? I have the ADM templates installed on the DC but cannot find the DisablePrintPreview policy. Thanks in advance.

Last summer we purchased a number of Lenovo B50-50 laptops. Two laptops have since developed faults and were returned to Lenovo for repair. The motherboards were replaced during the repair but the new motherboard does not have a valid model number. This is a real problem for us as our deployment method (SCCM + WMI Query) relies on having the model number to deploy the correct drivers, software, etc I have contacted Lenovo support but they are not being very helpful. Has anybody ever come across this? Is there a way of entering a model number back into the BIOS perhaps?
