  1. Yup it worked before i added the lines, but now i've deleted the lines and tried again and it still doesnt work, odd.
  2. The lines you said work perfect Steve, thanks. Problem now is i'm getting error 0 and not joining the domain like others have said, so it's not working ^^
  3. Thanks Steve. I'll give it a go and report back
  4. How can i delete the autojoindomain.vbs after its ran? I dont want it left on the computer since it contains password
  5. What sort of damage would this do if it hit earth? ( 5-20 meters in size seems very small ) I know it depends where it, but just curious
  6. I use freemake video converter Freemake | Best Freeware Alternatives To Paid Video Software
  7. The LG looks quite good, it's bigger in size, but it's not LED and it seems to lack a few features that others have such as built in HD freeview and internet. I found a Sony that looks kinda nice as well. I will have to read some reviews to see what people are saying about Sony at the moment. Here's what I have so far Samsung UE32C5100 Samsung UE32C5100 32-inch Widescreen Full HD 1080p 50Hz: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics Samsung UE32D5000 Samsung UE32D5000 32-inch Widescreen Full HD 1080p: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics Sony KDL32CX520BU Sony KDL32CX520BU 32-inch Widescreen Full HD 1080p LCD: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics LG / 37LE4500 http://www.play.com/Electronics/Electronics/-/3097/2364/-/17744781/LG-37LE4500-37-Inch-Full-HD-1080p-Freeview-LED-TV/Product.html?source=9593&_$ja=tsid:11853|prd:78888 I'm still confused if the Samsung tv's can access the internet (Iplayer etc) like the sony one.
  8. Taking a look at the LG. One thing i've noticed straight away is that this is a lcd screen wheres the samsung is LED. Led is generally better, right?
  9. Thanks. Will have a look. Just seen this one as well Samsung UE32D5000 32-inch Widescreen Full HD 1080p: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics Need see which is better that looks quite good. I see some tvs state they have rj45 ports. Does this mean you can get internet on the tv?
  10. Ok but can you see any that are as good as the one i mentioned above and roughly the same price?
  11. Thanks. I will look. Have been looking at this one and struggling to find one that can match or better it for the price Samsung UE32C5100 32-inch Widescreen Full HD 1080p 50Hz: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics
  12. Parents looking at buying a new tv for around £350 They want something no smaller than 32" and no bigger than 37" I've been having a look around. Just wondered if any of you nice edugeekers had some suggestions:) Have a lovely weekend.
  13. Seems like that chart says otherwise:P I've only heard people say they are good, but maybe not then:)
  14. If you get these I bet the teachers still say their 10 year old monster tower deaktop ( That they've asked you to fix 5 times in the last year ) is still faster and the network sucks! What brand are these desktops? They seem nicely priced. Edit Just a thought. Could you use the hard drives from the current desktops as a secondary to store some of the "rubbish" (Pagefile, Temp Files and less used applications) to free up some space on the ssd.
  15. I wish i had your bank account. I want 300 of these! They should improve loading times dramatically. I guess you’re using windows 7? I think I’m right in saying you need windows 7 to get full benefits. 64 GB seems a little on the low side for me, but it seems like you've done your research and don’t need any bigger. OCZ ssd's are supposed to be fairly good as well. Have you looked at these? EDIT Opps you clearly said your using windows 7, sorry^^
  16. Thanks both. I decided to drop having it auto run and went down a different route. Thanks again.
  17. I enjoyed the race once it got going. I find it pathetic that they start a race under safety car conditions. It's a race...not a sunday morning drive. If it's not safe to race, delay the race till it is and then let them 'race' Also i thought those stewards who nearly got hit were an embarassment to the race. What were they thinking!?? They should of never been in the middle of the track when cars were still spread out like that. That could of ended very nasty for the steward and not a nice experience for the racing drivers. Glad to see JB win, Glad to see Vet not win ( i was getting bored of him winning all )
  18. Ah that makes sence! It should work on WinXp though right? My autorun is this encrypt.exe is in the root of the usb along with the autorun.inf
  19. But why does Windows XP CD still work then? If i go to my computer and double click the CD drive that XP is in it launches the setup.exe automaticaly. Why can windows XP do it but not me lol? EDIT Also it doesnt work on XP for me either.
  20. I'm creating a little application in visual basic 2010 express to mount/dismount a truecrypt volume thats stored on a USB drive. I want this application to autorun when someone double clicks on the USB device. How can i do this? It's for windows XP and 7. I tried the autorun.inf way of open=myapplication.exe When I double click the usb drive it doesnt launch the application. Can i do something in visual basics to make the application autorun? I want it to work like when you insert a windows cd into your pc. If you insert windows XP and go my computer and double click the cd drive the setup.exe will launch. I want exactly this, just it needs to work on a usb device and launch my visual basic application please help
  21. I havent. I'll give that a go!
  22. Thanks. I might have to resort to that. Dont really like torrents though^^ i'll try find a reliable, safe looking one. I'm copying the files from the CD over to my USB drive at the moment. Hoping that might work and install the OS.
  23. Does anyone have an ISO of windows xp home edition 32 bit I can download please? Or is this illegal? I have a license key and even a cd myself. The problem is this. I'm trying to fix a friends computer and my windows XP cd keeps giving CRC errors whilst trying to install so now im stuck. thanks
