No problems here. The only little thing I see is ( WHich doesnt effect useability at all) when I click on the 'about' tab and move my cursor over the copyright statement my cursor changes into the loading animation.

I used a website in the past where you posted a message and then suppliers would reply giving you quotes. I cant remember the website name. Anyone know of it? thanks

Sorry I have no idea why the proxy settings dont work^^ I dont know any coding. If you need any more videos or screenshots give me a shout and I'll get some for you.

Tried with the new version and I get the same problems as before. The E2BN proxy settings work fine. They say 'proxy setting succesfully applied' when I click and I can see the change in IE. The rest nothing happens when I click the button and no changes in IE.

Okay i've tested. Here are the problems I still get on Windows 7 Pro x64 The following crash with the error I showed in my previous post = disk defrag, system restore The following give the message 'command cannot be found when clicked' = presentation manager, msconfig, printer migration, component services The EMBC and SWGFL pre-made proxy settings do nothing for me when I click the button. Both these seem to work fine here.

I'll download and test now=]

looks good:) A few problems I seem to have. Windows 6 x64 OS EduGod crashes with this message when I click the following buttons Defrag, System restore, Presentation manager (What is this?), msconfig, printer migration and component services. http://img689.imageshack.us/img689/5511/errorzvq.png The pre-made proxy settings dont seem to work for me either. I click the embc one for example and no message appears and my proxy settings in IE9 havent changed. Here's how it looks for me:) http://img703.imageshack.us/img703/4166/edugod.jpg

How to give server a external domain name?
ihaveaproblem replied to ihaveaproblem's topic in Windows Server 2008 R2
Yeah this is just for learning and training Emm it's over https. If i try to access using http it shows page cannot be displayed. Using https it just says there is a security risk because of the invalid certificate. I accept and ignore that and it all works. EDIT To learn how to use ssl certificates would this godaddy one for £30 be fine? http://www.godaddy.com/ssl/ssl-certificates.aspx?isc=sslqguk02b&ci=9039 Can I apply it to the TS and then once i've done testing that apply it to something else? Dont know how these work=] -

Hi Witch, Can you get the minidump file created from the BSOD and upload it so one of us can take a look? If you boot into safe mode and then go to C:\windows\minidump You will see the dumps created. If you upload the one with the most recent time stamp then one of us can use the minidump tools and see if it tells us whats going on. -

Nice, it works I like it. From what others have said using RDP like this isnt very secure? I'm going to try the other method now. -
How to give server a external domain name?
ihaveaproblem replied to ihaveaproblem's topic in Windows Server 2008 R2
Yep i have a dynamic IP. The method you mention do you mean port fowarding? I set my router to listian to port 3389 and then foward all requests to the server? And then use a dynamic dns service (which my router supports) to keep the ip address information up to date. Im using the server 2008 r2 enterprise 180 day trial -

Its just at home so all i've got is a Belkin Wireless G + Router. My friend has a domain name spare that they dont use and i was going to test using that. -
Hello, I'm learning and reading through my Microsoft books so this is only for a test environment and nothing urgent:) Can i remote desktop a server externally from the internet? I know you can use tools like logmein, but i was wondering can I purchase a domain name like myserver.com and then use the windows remote desktop session and remote in using that? e.g. mstsc /v myserver.com would that work? if i purchased a domain name how would i then set up the server to use this? If someone has a website i can read up on this it would be great:) Hope this isnt a to dumb of a question ..

No worriess he has an ipad now. it can do everytthhiiiingg. I bet it has an app to sort out his kidney problem.. In seriousness its quite scary the extreme measures some people will go. I remember reading about a lady who had sex for world of warcraft gold. To me thats crazy aswell. If i knew this boy and he was that desperate i would of bought him an ipad myself and slapped him around the head with it and tell him to try and get on a website that uses flash. Crazy crazy kid. Hope his health is going to be ok.

My ebuyer parts arrived on Friday Ordered Wednesday 18th in the evening and arrived at 8:00 on Friday the 20th. One problem. In my order it shows 1 of the parts at a different warehouse so it's going to be delivered separate. This part this hasn’t been dispatched and it’s now shown as out of stock on their website. This annoys me a little because when I ordered it showed 3 or 4 in stock still. And now clearly it was out of stock before I ordered otherwise the part would have been dispatched by now Still I’m fairly happy. As long as everything works fine!

Steve21 presents: EduRemote

At times a student needs to lock the computer Maybe they are quickly going to the toilet, or collecting a print out. We all know how kids like to be mischevious. It only takes stepping away from a computer for 30 seconds and you could have someone doing all sorts of nasty things! Arthur, thank you. I didnt realise that^^ Steve, love this! -

Looks good, nice work Steve:) It's such an annoyance having to force a shutdown when a user leaves win 7 client locked. I have a problem though. Trying to run the application from a Windows XP Pro and I get the error message attached. Runs fine from Window 7 enterprise. -
What are the specs of the laptops and how old? Maybe one of the components is failing and causing the lockup
