Jon is gonna be pulling his hair out @PhilNeal. Glad the problems have been spotted quickly. With the amount of changes in reporting and assessment, its not surprising that every situation couldn't be foreseen. At least not many schools will have applied it.

As more feedback, it was poorly advertised. I knew about it, but most others in Devon etc didn't. Plus, quite out if patch for southwest now, used to do Torquay as well.

On the solus front...ive seen the work on 3.8, which is a massive improvement (not that 3.7 wasnt already). I had been avoiding it as well, but with the new versions - I will actually be moving to it.

Yep, fat client...and that's even as a thin client user. Just not really appropriate for what you want in this case I think

Removed older meru system and replaced with ruckus. Issues reported with wireless dropped to zero!

Now that Sharepoint is becoming more common in Schools, and there are some LAs that are hosting it - it takes some of the pain out of the adoption. Really, it depends what you want to use the product for as to which is more appropriate. Insight is very good at what it does too, and I have looked at it a few times.
