  1. We currently have a Exchange 2003 server on our all 2003 domain, this server is coming up for replacement this summer and the obvious way forward is to put a new server in place with 2007 on. My issue/questions I have read about introducing the 2007 box intot he domain and how to get all the folders and mailboxes across. This seems pretty straight forward :x I was thinking on the subject of redundancy and keeping the 2003 box online as well as some sort of backup option where the mailboxes replicate from the 2007 to 2003. To be honest i have no idea on this and may be talking out my ar**. Could someone give me ideas on this possible best way set up.

  7. I have an OU with 250 users in it. I need to changed their passwords as they have worked out the format we used to do them before. I have a script that will give them a password to logon and then they get prompted to input another password that only they know. What i want to do is give them a password from a file, ie have a script that looks for their user name in OU against a csv file and then gives them a password associated with their name fromthe file. Not sure if this makes sense but i am sure someone will get the jist of it.

  21. Nope
  22. Is there such a thing? We are looking at the possibility of a mini rack-mount server, Small enough to install in a data cabinet. I think the cabinet is 390mm deep and only has a patch panel and switch in it. We want to put a server in there with around 500gb storage in there to be used in the media studies room. The idea is that all the media studies users save their work to this server to cut down in network traffic around the school. I know you can have a Buffalo NAS but from what i read their is problems with the Active Directory recognition and this puts me off.
