Hi all, I'm in the process of putting together a web app which is pulling some class group info out of the CMIS db, using AD authentication I am currently able to build a list of the logged in users' assigned class groups, I want to be able to filter those class groups to a selected date's pertinent groups based on the input from a JavaScript calendar, but obviously the data is already pre-processed by the time any JavaScript interaction has begun on the client side, clearly it's not going to be the most dynamic of solutions but I would wish for the posting of the calendar value to not have to redirect to a completely different page. So my question is, does anyone have any bright ideas for how this could be achieved in the most seamless way possible. All i'm looking to do is modify a list menu's values from js that is made from data acquired from php If any of that makes sense Cheers Guys Robert

No need! There's an advanced task to do this, if you have the FOG client installed it will reboot the machines and do an inventory. Just got the task management and select it.

Fog's hardware inventory task will also do this if you happen to use it as your imaging solution. If not, i agree with the spiceworks option

i seem to remember installing ssh from cydia but i could be wrong. and yes i also downloaded mobile terminal to change the root password of the device. as far as i know there is no way to do this via usb. as for reports of the phone slowing down, yes mine did too, but no worse than a lot of people i know who didn't jailbreak, some of apple's updates were the culprit from what i could tell, the latest one works fine for the most part.

Have had mine done for a few months, used PwnageTool which worked a treat, don't forget to change your root password if you leave ssh on...

yeah i've chown'd it to the fog user which apparently should be the answer but it's still not playing ball..

While trying to upload an image to the fog server i keep getting this error. * unable to move /images/dev/macaddress to /images/name-of-image all signs from google point to it being a permissions error. I followed these instructions to try and fix it which didn't do the trick. I then changed the permissions of /images to full read/write for everyone to see if that worked and still no joy, the temporary .000 isn't even being created. Has anyone seen this before or have any idea of something to try ? TIA Rob
