    no i dont think that will work, they would need a ton of IP addresses to do that sort of thing id of thought? it would have to be with you, like when u transfer files from home to work or sormthing like that. When you plug your iphone into your pc, it appears in my computer, can you not copy it into that iphone folder? and then wherever you plug in your iphone does it not appear in my computer.

    it just uses whatever wireless network im using, when im at home it broadcasts to the home network and at work automatically switches onto my work wireless. Any yes just simply enter the ip adress into your web browser and up it comes.

    not quite as a memory stick i dont think but use the app Ifiles, that just turns your phone into a little webserver that you can log into using the IP and transfer files to and from the phone, not tried word documents and stuff, dont know if it would work.

    yes this is true, + and & symbols do not work in home access plus for file or folders.

    Yeah i know what you mean, if it was up to me id say balls to them learn how to use it, but its the headmaster he isnt one for confrontation he would just rather keep everyone happy lol.

    We are about to roll out office 2010 to our school, but a few of the older teachers dont like change, so what we have is a small program "office menu 2010" that reverts the menu systems back to 2003 style. Is there a way to inslude this in the deployment of 2010? I know in OCT you can add certain things like exe bat and other rules but when i added this .exe it didnt work. Any ideas would be appreciated Jonny

    Hi all, I am having some problems with Microsoft Office 2003. I have just found out that both problems are linked. The office.microsoft.com website causes me problems with Clipart and the Help files within office. I log into the Internet to make sure it can connect to online content, and the web page wont load up properly, it has tons of script errors and while that happens clipart and help files dont work, but if i keep refreshing the web page it then loads the web page properly and all the clipart and help files work fine. Why would the page not just load correctly the first time? Iv got all latest updates, sp3, java, flash shockwave etc.. just incase it was that, but its really causing a problem in the classroom for the kids. Urgent help required, Thanks in advance.

    We now have our home access plus up and running and it looks very nice. I just have one issue that needs resolving. We have a mapped drive that all staff can access to create a folder for themselves or for other people to drop work into. On individual folders they have permissions so only that member can retrieve work etc.. The Home Access Plus doesn't seem to recognise that permission even thoe the correct member of staff is logged on. How can i make the home access plus just allow access for the required user to his or her folder. I can get access if i set the permission to the IIS server name, but that allows every user access. Thanks in advance.

    When logging into HAP in Internet explorer, i have to type domain\Username is this correct, but in Firefox all we have to type is the username and the password, is there a way of setting this to do the same in Internet Explorer.

    iv got it pointing to \\servername\users$\administrators then i need to to select my stored drive which i thought would be %username% or %user% ?

    Hi, iv almost got the home access fully configured, the only problem im having is when i click on the mapped network drive it comes up saying Error:Unauthorised access. Any help would be very much appreciated.

    I have recently set up a software restricting poicy to stock students running bat files and other file types from the shared drive. I have recently turned the block on txt files off on the server as data files are needed for access databases. The problem i am having is that even thoe i now removed txt files from the block list, it is still blocking them when a pupil logs in. Any help would be great thanks.

    Hi i am looking at a friends laptop that is not working. All that happens when you press the power putting is you get a flash from the backlight on the screen and it doesn't do anything else. Iv tested the power cables and transforms and all are fine. The charging light for the battery shows as red which is normal when plugged in. I removed RAM etc and absolutly nothing. Anyone got any ideas as to what it is? Iv also stripped it down to the motherboard and had no signs of burn marks or damage. Thanks in advance Jonny

    love it, had problems joining servers last night and my NAT is open so must have had an overload issue, anyone else have that? Like the idea of buying the different perks and attachments etc.. love the mp5

    cheers dude, just noticed the one underneath that was missing and its acpi wonder if that had something to do with it, iv added those drivers into it aswell.

    I didnt see the section on the lenovo site to choose the different type ill have a look.the model is 2958.. yeah iv got the driver to work manually by installing the broadcom wireless driver b57xp32.sys it just wont find it on the deploy for some reason. The dev and ven id's are ven_14e4 and dev_1713.

    Hi all, Having a problem getting MDT2010 to find the wireless driver for the Lenovo G550 Laptop. Iv downloaded every driver from the Lenovo site, extracted and included them in the out of box drivers. Iv also got a small add on program that searches the drivers after installation to try and find some it may have missed and it still does not work. I wonder if anyone has got any ideas? or has experienced the same problem. Thanks.
