Hi all, just wondering if anyone has experienced any problems with office 2010 clipart. We run through an Internet explorer proxy server and the url that office uses to search online just doesn't seem to work. Iv added exceptions into the internet explorer list for microsoft.com but it just doesn't seem to be searching online at all. It seems to struggle with the IP address 65.55.69.140 Its been a problem for a while now and its really starting to bug me. Any help would be muchly appreciated. Jonny

try put an earth cable from the VGA cable connector going into the back of the computer onto somwhere on the computer case. Especially if your projectors power cable is a figure of 8 as it had no earth cable. This sometimes send interference to down to the board.

Just fixed our problem. Someone had created a policy along side Deafult Domain for SIMS. Within this policy was a .bat for startup which had a line mapping drive F for SIMS. This was clashing with our mapped drive script.

if anyone reads this, the fix was that quicktime was missing ,included on the original CD with plugins

Its office 2010 and yeah its exchange. Yeah it keeps resetting each time i load outlook. Won't connect to the exchange server (which we dont host its runs from our ISP leeds learning network) Ill look at the policies i wasn't aware of any that could do this.

i found sophos detected, placed into quarentine, then when i went to view the quarentine it was empty lol.

Is there anyway you can make outlook default to basic authentication setting? Everytime i re load outlook it switches it back to NTLM authentication. Cheers guys. Jonny

we have seen this lots of times, we have had reports its come from some adverts on hotmail. Easiest way to remove was to go into safe mode and run malwarebytes with the latest definitions.

Its not that simple, but its the recommeneded microsoft way as they didnt provide an MSI. And it works! We deployed it to over 700 machines last week.

HP laserjet 4700DN, very good quality printer, easy to set up. We have a few in the school, very robust.

this error is related to the permissions. Right click the drive go to permissions and add a permission for the actual computer name of the server you are using to host home access plus. So we use "server1" to host. Add "server1" to the permissions list give it full control and it should then allow you in.

I fixed this issue. Needed to turn off the schools internet proxy in my iphone thanks for the help anyway guys

Hi all, Iv installed the app and the latest version of spiceworks. in Internet explorer we type http://whsserver01/dashboard to get to spiceworks but the app will not take the server name i just get server error. Iv tried with http://whsserver01 http://IPADDRESS of server http://whsserver01/dashboard Non of which seem to work. Im attached wireless to the network with no issues. can anyone point me in the right direction. Thanks Jonathan

Hi guys trying to move a system called OPT which is used in school onto our server from another Host. A teacher has the Birchfield VLE software on his machine. Basically its a shockwave exe that runs with various rescources. It runs on all machines except for one which displays an error "director player error" #directToStage Script Error. Continue?" has anyone got any ideas? Iv installed latest shockwave,Flash,java etc but no luck. Anyone experienced something similiar.?

I have a problem, sims works fine running from the F drive, the F drive just doesnt show as SIMS it says Disconnected network drive. No idea why it is doing this. Any suggestions, its also suddenly started showing on the student profiles unlike before but as we block acces to F they cant access it.
