Any reason why both?

Just trying to build up our base image for our summer upgrade and as all pf our PC's now have DVD writes in could do with some DVD/CD writer software. Anyone got any suggestions, nothing complicated just the usual DVD video\data CD data\music creation.

Thats me as well, started of from school in engineering knowing mainly metric but had to work with older people who were definately imperial (30 years ago) so quickly got used to using both and now any diy is done in which ever it falls nearest to!

How do you do that in group policy? Could you give some details?

Just trying to sort why one of my access points keeps dropping signals and downloaded the iPad Ruckus Speedflex app. I have options to choose UDP or TCP to test, now my knowledge is not great so what are they and which one should I choose to use for testing?

Could you share those settings as I need those but could not find where to set it. Look slike I may have to keep an eye on this update progerss for it to work though!

All the above really, just been looking back and its now six years I have been and each year we seem to in one way improve the visit be it hotel or train. Already just put BETT in to next years budget proposal which has been pro isionally approved so should see you all agin next year.

Had this as well, just had a pc this week do it, thats since last summer when we changed to w7 and the image was syspreped.

Thanks, seen that one but its the TDP-ST20, a slivhtly different beast and could do with a service manual with more technical details than the user manual. Found one but its only for sale.

In order to keep our ailing fleet of projectors going does anyone have or have a link to projector service manuals? I am after ones for a Toshiba ST-20 and also the Hitach ED-X10, had good success with cleaning other projectors including the ST-20, all out of warranty so nothing to loose really. Quick edit: found the Hitachi one, just need the Toshiba one now. It's easy to take apart but need to find out what the two service buttons on the outside of the case do?

Just been looking at the local profiles on a PC and noticed one class had a 325Mb profile so investigated and found that in the Application Data folder was a .minecraft folder with 135Mb in it. Can I, a) just get rid of it b) stop it from happening again.

You are correct, just taken one down. Look on top, right hand side when facing screen and the screw in a chanfered deep hole. Tighten it fully then the projector will be able to slide to the right off its pegs which fit in key hole slots. Job done. Incidentally, try stripping it down and cleaning it out, they do get quite dusty inside as no filters. Had a c ouple with similar issues and a full clean worked. They are quite easy to fully strip and rebuild right down to the mirrors and lenses.

Got the above projectors and a few now refuse to reset the lamp hours using the power on, up arrow on remote, wait for beep, down arrow on remote, metbod to reset which I have used before. Remote is OK, sound is on in menu, waited ages but still no reset beep. Would phone Toshiba but they will only give access by premium rate telephone now. Pronectors out of warranty but still display well. Only solution at moment is to press ok when it warns of lamp house each time its started but although OK not brilliant. There are two buttons marked service on the projector, anyone know if these would help me? Only other metbod in manual is no use as we do not have the wall mounted controls.

I too would say ICT Direct, good pc's at a price I can justify. Allowed me to order a complete suite of 34 now, couldnt have dreamt of doing that a while ago.

I was just going to run the commands as a batch file. Would I have to use psexec?

No this is not the usual is 32 or 64bit better but rather simpler probably. I have a server 2008 64bit and 32bit clients, I want to use nircmd for a couple of jobs like setting the audio etc but there are two versions, 64bit and 32 bit, which to use? 64bit version as it will be located on the 64bit server or 32bit as it will be performing commands on a 32bit client?

Need to re label all our PC's in the summer and just wondering what you use, have usually just used paper labels but they seem to just peel off these days so needing somthing a little more robust. I must be able to print on to them and thats about it, not bothered about any school names pre printed on etc.

+1 for these, bought quite a few now, only 4 broken so far, well not broken just staff not checking things, the silicon ear pads are removable, little ones pulled some off and staff have not checked and so plastic ring that secures it to headphones are now missing!

Just looking at using MonkeyJam animation. Got it on the server and it works from a share but it saves its settings, default save location etc somewhere I cant find! Not in registry. Anyone know where it saves its settings so I can somehow set the shared one to load them up rather than having to remind the kids to change the settings each time. It does have facility to save profiles with the settings but it says it saves them and saves them in a default area but I cant find them! It at least works on our system but cant sort that last bit.
