  4. Cant see the benefit, it won't save you much money as there are already drops being made. Things like digital signage, printers, mfds, access control , servers , remote servers will all need Ethernet ( or at least the option of).
  5. Not the answer you were looking for but i'd stop right there, Italc wasn't easy to use at all. I ended up buying a licnese for AB tutor instead, Costs money but actually works!.
  6. I do this sort of thing using teacher speak. 1. Can I use all 30 ipads at the same time? - Yes, but it will be very slow. 2. 13. When you have control of the budget and staff to manage usually.
  14. Nope. Not unless I was paid a significant amount to do so. If they want someone to your level then they need to provide someone with relevant skills and give you enough time to share and pass on knowledge. They don't sit thick kids next to the genius and ask the boffin to get the thick kid upto A*.
  15. Not a chance. I was 20 minutes late this morning, not only did he not realise he left around 20 tickets on the helpdesk and didn't bother doing any PM checks.
  16. Use delprof2 to nuke the profiles https://helgeklein.com/free-tools/delprof2-user-profile-deletion-tool/
  17. The former. Is fine with multiple cards.
  18. Are the devices all on your domain?
  19. Yup, Pretty much!. Create the drive, build the cluster around it, add the hardware to the cluster then make each VM HA and migrate the storage.
  20. Most software will run for a period without a product key for a while. You'd struggle to maintain the integrity of your VLK's if students are being given them to install software!
  21. Yup . That!!! You can set a failover cluster to run on existing nodes, The biggest issue you will face is that you will need to use an IScsi disk as a cluster disk within the cluster. Once setup you just clickly click and it will migrate the disks and config and put them in the cluster. We run a cluster across 6 nodes and have individual local vms on each as well. https://4sysops.com/archives/hyper-v-cluster-part-1-requirements/ How to make an existing Hyper-V Virtual Machine Highly Available | Thomas Maurer
  22. easy as pie. Once the cluster is setup you simply run a little wizard and it all works.
  23. I've just borked my install of hta tools so this looks good!
  24. eyefi pro x2 will do this.
  25. Depends on how they are used, I bet the schools that have IT to hand all day long shoe horn it into the curriculum and don't have the teacher skills to maintain a decent level of delivery. Whilst those who only use it when they need it deliver decent confident lessons that fit in well.
