Yeh pretty sure you can set admin on different pages who have to approve changes. They receive email notifications as well to let them know there is an update to approve

We used E4Education at my last school. Was very impressed with the end product and the ease of which we could update the site. As you've said, we could also give out sections of the website to other departments to update which reduced our workload and they found it easy as well. What I particularly liked was that other staff could update their pages but before it went live it had to be approved, giving an extra layer of checking to ensure what went out was correct. As said by many, I've had a lot of dealings with misco in my 14 years of working in education. Phil Endicott was a good account manager as well. Am I the only one who uses Haptic as a supplier? Good company, easy to deal with and never cold call. Just discovered CPC as well for bits and bobs and been impressed.

I couldn't tell you if it's best practice or not...but we don't use the default VLAN for this. We have separate VLAN's for switch management and also wireless management (for which we use ID 10 & 20 respectively).

We were still having issues with Pearson Active Learn even after white listing the various sites to Smoothwall. We then discovered that we were still being filtered at an LA level and once this was removed we've not had a problem with PearsonActiveLearn since (about 7/8 weeks now).

Morning all, We've just been asked to look at setting up a class set of Raspberry Pi's and I'm wondering how best to do this. I think in an ideal world we would have a room with monitors, keyboards & mice where the Pi's lived permanently, but sadly that isn't an option as we don't have the room availability. The Head of Computing would like them put onto the school wireless and then have students access them remotely via a remote console, but I'm worried about what other access this would give students. How have others gone about providing access to their Raspberry Pi's? Thanks in advance Iain

This is beginning to drive me round the bend now..... Office 2013 is deployed through SCCM and on a PC in a test OU with no GPO inheritence, logged on as a user in a test OU with no GPO inheritence connects immediately to office 365 and the user picks up one drive and sharepoint as save locations. With Office 2016 with the same customised deployment settings as we have for 2013 on the same PC and same user, it doesn't automatically connect to Office 365. If I click on "Sign in to get the most out of Office" and enter the email address of the user, it will then connect. But why doesn't it do it automatically? Everything I've read suggests this should be normal behaviour for Office 2013 & 2016. Anyone had a similar issue?

Just been catching up on the second series of "Stan Lee's Lucky Man" from Sky One, thought it's been a bit slow to get going but the last 4/5 episodes were really really good although it has gone a bit "Final Destination" in episodes 7/8

Great work! Good luck with the Blackpool Marathon. I finally got back out running yesterday after what feels like an eternity with my sore back which kept me out of the Wilmslow Half Marathon. Just 5km and is was such hard work!!

Yes we do use ADFS. Apologies on the settings, we have recreated the policy recreating the settings for 2013 in 2016 as best we can but nothing out of the ordinary.

That's what I thought, we've not changed any policies that impact on Office (the same policies that are set for 2013 are currently being used for 2016 whilst we're in testing)

Morning all, We currently use Office 2013 but are working on updating our OS to Windows 10 and also updating to Office 2016. In Office 2013, when a user logs in and accesses Word/Excel etc they are already signed into Office 365 and can access their One Drive etc. In Office 2016 the auto login doesn't seem to work. The user only has to click on "Sign in to get the most out of Office" to login, but i'd like to get rid of this step if possible. Has anyone any suggestions on how to get past this? Well it's not been a good 2 weeks for my running :-( After my big run last week, I then spent 4 days in bed ill....not an ideal way of starting my taper. Came back into work on Monday, then on Tuesday I moved a box of paper from our reprographics department to our office and as I put the box on the floor.....my back went ping....I'm now hobbling round the office....pretty much guaranteed that I will not be running in the half marathon on Sunday. Pretty devastated to miss out, I've put the hard work in, I've trained hard and now I've got to miss out :-(

Had a few days off ill last week so watched a few films that Mrs F won't particularly want to watch. Hateful 8 - pretty standard Tarantino film for me, nothing out of the ordinary Supersonic - Quite enjoyed this, have always been a huge Oasis fan. The David Brent film (can't remember the exact name) - This was dire, very dated comedy for me, probably would have been funny when I was at Uni.

Didn't manage to get out on Sunday....so I went out last night instead...20km covered in 2 hours. Virtually full half marathon distance :-) Very pleased, just need to up the pace a little to try and get under 2 hours for the whole run. Just 5 training runs to go!!
