  1. One of the best purchases we ever made for our students.
  2. But we always use to get the best prices from Dell Direct and before they were really good at getting back to us quickly. They must be pushing back to resellers, I suppose it’s unfair for them if Dell keeps undercutting though I don’t want to pay more in the processes!
  3. They refused my .sch.uk address but approved our .co.uk address!! :S Now looks like there site is having issues I can't download anything.
  4. I'm having LOTS of problems with Dell direct at the moment, there sales department well.. I really want a demo of the Optiplex 780 Ultra Small form Factor all in one stand with a 22" monitor, is there any Edugeek suppler out there wouldn’t mind demoing perhaps or anyone with this model I could come and see in the Essex'ish area? We will be looking to tender in the summer for a 220+ order of various Dell workstations and Laptops.
  5. Not fully supported but it does work! Just make sure your using SQL2008 not R2.
  6. Another + for CodePlex found some brillant little webparts.
  7. Hi Tom, Trying to keep the hyper-v dream alive, did you manage to get any news from your developers? Waiting in anticipation, Rob
  8. Anoter vote for Xibo, brillant free bit of kit. Have streaming TV and Webcams running very good.
  9. That’s fair enough and it sounds like MS should have done this a long time ago. I think there is a small but growing user base who would like to be able to use your products in hyper-v so keep us updated with any developments! Thanks, Rob
  10. Tom, did you find any more information on this?
  11. Has anyone has an issue with using this webpart with WSS? Just get errors of files missing etc, have redeployed several times with no success. Any advice welcomed. Thanks, Rob
  12. When will this become available to download off the Adobe Licensing Website (LWS)?
  13. I just takes you to the Google Android Market Place lol.
  14. I've only seen pricing in $ so far at bestbuy.com
  15. I've never seen many perfect wireless projector setups hence we I would never both unless it was a real issue. Using wireless network is a non-starter for this unless you have something very reliable this does look a good alternative when it more widely available. Wireless Display - Intel This does look very good and the demos I've seen look great but requires the chipset in your laptop ... also not sure how many can be located in close proximity.
  16. What setup files you after on the media? I found everything I needed in the setups folder after doing a solus update.
  17. Done it, right I think detaching the database using the standard DBattach tool isn’t the correct way to do it. But because I was having difficulties with the tools GUI on the original server that was my only option. Until I gave it one last go using the CLI and the --Silent switch, and it worked! Connected to the original database and done a migration to a transfer path, then on the new server the opposite and it was happy as rain no complaints about Backup locations. Logged into SIMS and everything so fair looks good!
  18. D2D2T as an option would be where I'm heading.
  19. It does work the tool, FMS worked fine for me its just this main SIMS database. I’m beginning to wonder if something is right with our existing database. I know (before my time) capita setup the original server and had some … major issues… esp with SQL 2005 and the migration. I just need to crack this nut.
  20. +1 for a Windows Edition, I shall watch this closely. BackupExec atm but only using the quick start edition and then have many diskshaddow scripts for live snapshotting of varies services and VMs. I didn’t get anywhere with connecting Backup Exec via NDMP to many S7000 so a free/cheaper alternative has all ears.
  21. I've even tried removing the table completely, removing the entry, editing the entry it still doesn't like it. So frustrating when I can move the FMS databases with no problems what so ever.
  22. How To Change Windows 7 Logon Screen Not tried myself but does look easy enough, better that editing DLLs. Though I never had a problem with that and XP worked a treat.
  23. £350 isn't bad and that’s including FMS as well. Is that one the same server I presume?
