Use SCCM and EndPoint Manager (InTune) coupled with PatchMyPC and Dell Update catalogue which handles all our patching drivers, OS and third-party software updates etc. We aim to get updates done in a two week window which we are about 95% successful in achieving considering a lot of laptops and very sporadic usage patterns.

After upgrading to 20H2 I have also lost DA.. Was confused so ended up using an alternative vpn but would be interested in hearing if it's being disable. I've started the work on setting up AoVPN mainly in the hope of overcoming home internet connection issues for some of our users but looks like it's still a thing with AoVPN.

Do you have a QNAP or Synology box on site? I speak from experience from a cloud loss. If you cannot afford to loss it, make a plan.

Anyone seeing the availability of the Prowise Central 3.2 update? I'm keen to get the Microsoft Teams app installed instead of Skype 🙄. Also interested in see what the Prowise Screen Control product will bring. Rob

Any way of having the Zoom client but "disabling" the ability to starte your own meeting, only join. I want my users to have a good experience joining zoom meetings but not have the a ability to start using it instead of our standardised platform of choice.

I'm looking on-site so even if we had a full outage, we have rapid local access to mission critical files in-addition to not paying £3.5k every year will soon add up compared to buying one of these with 200TB of storage! Most Cloud to Cloud backup offerings appear to be per user, per year costs but with unlimited data, Barracuda at the moment is VERY competitively priced, Redstor wouldn't come close compared to my recent quotes. I speak with experience of suffering data loss by a Tier-1 cloud provider who couldn't recover our data!

The qnap offering isnt has good from first reading. How have you found the Synology backup? How many users and does it auto provision new users or do you have to do that? (Apologies for the questions)

With @ass17 's permission I have requested PatchMyPC add this application to their database, we use PmPC to automate our application updating via Microsoft Endpoint Manager, mainly for Cyber Security but also to reduce our workload in manually deploying updates. @Dan_ATR did you pick a provider in the end, I would be interested in your findings! We are still dealing with Microsoft 'accidently' deleting 2500+ Microsoft Stream videos because we were 'incorrectly placed in a “cancelled” state during a past migration and the clean-up tool removed the data associated with your organization from our environment' We are still pushing for answers how this could happen; they claim there are no backups! I'm not even sure these solutions cover backing up MS Stream!

I tried talking to Capita about the DA issue but they were not interested and TBH with DA reaching end of life and being replaced with AlwaysOnVPN that can do IPV4 end to end its becoming less of an issue. With regarding to pushing the update out I have also seen people use SCCM and some have some script to make this all nice and straight forward , depending on what tools you are using for application deployments?

I think mine would be happy paying in shillings and pennies...

Pi's are easy to get, normally order from RS but it was procuring the software in GDP was diffcult.
