    But we don't get it for weeks and months on end. If the goverment/councils spent millions on infrastructure to cope with 2-3 days of snow a year the taxpayers would have something to say about it.

    The reason we can't cope and complain is because it is out of the ordinary. The countries that carry on regardless do so because they experience adverse weather conditions routinely However, yes, as Britons, we are especially good about moaning about the weather.

    ha true! Yeah, i'm waiting for manually tintable reactions lenses, i've had that in my mind for years, you just want a little linear slider on the arm

    some of that is doable i guess, the tinting windows a lot of it is a way off, the 'phones' that were transparent, so all the tech is inside the tiny bars top and bottom? years and years off and of course any flexible items won't be glass, they'll be plastic e-ink type things

    I will say, i love my ipod, i have used iphones, ipads and imacs and have very much enjoyed the experience, but it's just not worth paying so much for, for me personally.

    Quite! Also, about lack of 'bleeding edge' hardware, i'm talking about simple things like 3G on the first iPhone, when dozens of other cheaper phones already had it, and the fact their cameras are always years behind in terms of pixel count.
