We're open today mainly because of HPV vaccinations Interestingly our web site hits went from an average 300 per day to 2178 hits on Tuesday and 3752 hits yesterday .... and still parents ring up to ask if we are open! One even rang to ask if a neighbouring school was open .

That's what his GF said

Looking at the bottom of the cloud it looks like someone was playing with the image in photoshop and did a poor job of smudging it. -
Have a look at scheduled tasks on the server.

Just one point. We would have to ensure that they are registered charities. A lot of schools don't do this. I'm not sure what the legalities are donating to an organisation which is not registered as a charity.

Agreed - otherwise the list could be endless.

I'd like to see the Special Needs schools benefit. They don't use a lot of IT kit as we know it but have some really expensive special kit.

This is getting plane silly. What we need is a few sensible replies so the thread can take off from where it started. -
As Winston Churchill once said; We shall go on to the end, we shall fight in Classrooms, we shall fight in the corridors and passages, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the server room, we shall defend our network, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight in the ICT Suites, we shall fight on the offices, we shall fight on the playing fields and in the playground, we shall fight in the forums; we shall never surrender, and even if, which I do not for a moment believe, this web site or a large part of it were subjugated and starving, then our Empire beyond the classrooms, armed and guarded by the IT Technicians, would carry on the struggle, until, in Edugeeks's good time, the New World, with all its power and might, steps forth to the rescue and the liberation of the old." and of course the famous; Never in the field of IT conflict was so much owed by so many users to so few technicians.

Another example of a high flying executive being plane greedy. Oh well, he'll have to appeal to his fans for more money and tighten his belt.
