what is the error message? Do you get support for SIMS from your LA? if so they should be able to help. As a workaround get the teacher to try running the pulsar.exe from the sims .net folder

In my experience there are times when it will struggle to get across the internal ring mains. My system would ontly work on one ring main either up stairs or down but for some reason it struggled to go between both. Equally if you have double plugs etc it will lose speed. In my 100 year old house with the older style fuse blocks I was also getting about 50/Mbs using AV200 boxes

getting the paper off can be difficult and you may find that the plaster behind will come off as you remove the paper. You may be better to get rid of the paper totally and then get the plasterers to skim the rest of the wals and make it all flush. If you do fill and paint use a thick paint for the first coat to cover the marks. I have use exterior paint before as a base coat
