Immediate thought - data protection risk.

SIP is very low bandwidth. Even if all 180 handsets were engaged in external calls at the same time, you'd only be using 18Mbps. We have 120 handsets connected to our system and I've never seen more than 8 calls at the same time. So less than 1Mbps of bandwidth in use. When our network infrastructure was installed, we planned it so every network cabinet had a provision of PoE ports, to handle Wifi and phones, so rolling it out has not needed any changes to our network stack here. The only thing we did do was put in place a VLAN specifically for phones, to split them off a bit.

Honestly, I'd suggest simply getting yourself a VPS or VM in Azure, and run your own controller. It will be far cheaper. Keeping it up to date is simple enough too.

The mobile game market is a travesty. I've given up trying with it to be honest. The sheer volume of games that basically require a constant stream of microtransactions to play makes it not worth it. Diablo buying into that market, rather than simply being a good game, on mobile makes it just as bad as the rest.

When spec'ing up hall sound, it really depends what the school want to do with it. If its just speakers and an amp to plug a laptop in, there's not much to it. But if they want to do what most do now, and have the ability to run microphones (wired or wireless), it starts complicating it. We're just about to do the hall sound at one of our middle schools. We're going to be putting in speakers, a rackmount amp, a combined rackmount mixer/media player (eg the Cloud MX141M). We have all the XLR boxes all over the stage/hall already too, so if we want to run a performance from the back of the hall instead, we just unpatch that mixer, and patch in the proper mixer we have for that event.

So, it all depends what they mean by editable. If it is just a normal PDF, then you'd need something like Adobe Acrobat DC (the paid one) to edit it. If it is a PDF they've turned into a form, then you would be able to fill that in using most modern PDF readers. The other option is they're expecting you to use Fill & Sign in Adobe Reader - this allows you to write anywhere on the PDF.

With Exa here for our schools. Been with them for 6 or so years at this point. Very rare we have any issues. Not worth me listing the price though, as the wholesale prices have changed since we signed up, so it'd actually be lower today if we signed up now.

Which way round are you doing the SSO? With Azure AD as the authenticator, or Google? If Azure is the authenticator, and Google is being handed the token saying the user has signed in, you can do what you want as you would link the 2 using a custom field anyway to get it to work - we have a custom field "ImmutableID" in Google, and we export them from AzureAD and import them into Google using GAM. So, the matching is done on that, and not the domain. The other way round, I'm not sure, sorry.

I think there's a need to recognise that not all DDoS attacks are the same, and not all mitigation techniques work for all types. It is also worth recognising that some things ascribed to "DDoS" are not in fact DDoS attacks at all, but simply DoS - from a single source etc. Basically, YMMV with anti-DDoS solutions. And any solution is going to have a time delay between the attack starting and the solution kicking in - the system has to have enough traffic come through for it to flag up as an attack at all. The shorter that delay, the more likely you're going to have false positives and find legitimate traffic being black holed.

We repair them ourselves, cannibalising others for parts. Most of the time, it isn't cost effective to replace more than 2 parts on most Chromebooks, as they are very cheap devices. Time-wise, they're quick to repair generally, as there's very little inside them, so its only a few screws and swapping modules.
