Yes - but it is modified and can provide a certain amount of load balancing. It does require IIS - but it configures most of it for you - Along with parts of the NPS element.

I don't know - all i know is I havn't used one of the lenovo's at that price point. although mine was around £520 (Lenovo E420S) but I have stuck an SSD and an extra 4gb ram in (ram cost about 20 quid) and was very easy to do. I am currently running my machine underneath and 2 VM's off it without even stressing it. (Intel I5, 8GB 256 SSD).

Lenovo and Toshiba for me are the best laptop's out at the moment - although not sure if they are at the £400 price point.

Depends on the switches - which ones are you looking at? How many ports and how much functionality is required?

If I am honest I don't think you would see much difference to justify it. The Hybrid SSD drives potentially a difference. TBH you might as well spend the money on Small SSD's and place the OS on this and data on the HDD.

My experience of APC ups's are that they are awful.

Plusnet is actually BT with a different badge. I use Zen at home (work pay for it) with its 1 to 1 contention it doesn't matter if you only get 5-10mb down as it is yours and you are not sharing with anybody else. It is a little more expensive than the rest but well worth it. They are also soon going to be doing fibre broadband without the need for line rental. Plus there's is 3 quid cheaper than bt/sky.

Contact borri directly and they will direct you to a Supplier or deal with you direct depending on the size on the unit.
