  1. Just encountering this issue myself (not updated them for awhile) and looks like since iOS 10.3.1 Configurator 1 does not support activation. Which is annoying.
  2. Had this issue last month, wouldn't respond to anything. They did finally respond to my enquiry after tweeting them several times.
  3. Was it the LEA in the end?
  4. No. Everything works OK in Chrome except for the tests. These do work in Google Chrome/Safari on ipads so that's our temp solution for now.
  5. Here's the kicker though now. Exact same version of chrome on my home machine (and thus unfiltered) and the start test button works.
  6. Old thread resurrection time! We are trying to get this working in Chrome (latest version) and all the content works apart from the start test button in the tests. Clicking on this does nothing, all the above sites are unblocked via our smoothwall. Bit of a strange one really. Anyone else had any similar issues?
  7. Guess you have been watching the races then or at least following what has happened so far this season.
  8. Looking forward to the as yet untitled ClarksonHammondMay series on Amazon way more than this.
  9. Doesn't help us when the the student ipads we use are mini 2's with 16GB.
  10. Only seen the announcements briefly but on the surface looks like you either need an MDM in place or for the shared ipad the devices need to be either pros, air2's or mini 4's.
  11. I am on the preview dash and it won't run now, they sussed it and fixed the loophole. Try and run it now and it requires an update which is obviously not available to download. Found a link... http://www.polygon.com/2016/2/6/10928652/red-dead-redemption-backward-compatibility-xbox-one
  12. It was via a loophole and I did indeed play it on my XB1. Already had 100% it but can't deny the nostalgia for the game. I expect it will début on BC at some point this year.
  13. /subscribes. What about systems not solely for IT Support departments? In the early stages of looking for a system (to replace an old in-house system) that can handle different departments input criteria on the initial logging screen. Such as Reprographics or Catering where there may be upwards of 20 unique inputs to outline the jobs requirements.
  14. Thanks. Don't suppose your bursar mentioned which schools? The usual panicking/flapping is occurring as per usual!
  15. Anyone hear of any schools hit? Just an email fom business manager stating that he has just learned 2 schools have been in ict shutdown for past week due to ransomware...
  16. Interested in this too but have drawn a blank as well.
  17. 4 of us stuck in the server room still (10 years + for me now) and its starting to grate. Back in 2012 asked management if we could relocate to an office virtually next to server room (which was a music store room and meeting room at that time) but was told the head had others plans. Nothing changed. Then they had to move careers in to the space last year due to another building project last year and refuse to entertain the notion it is the best place for us to be based. Latest talk is of moving us to the other side of the school and up on the third floor so as far aaway from server room as possible. Not really pleased with the prospect after so long in here and every other department had offices or moved within that time frame while we looked on!
  18. My reseller informed me last week that the 3 year option is no more, 1 year only on renewal.
  19. Had ours before XMas. Not without "issues" as is usual with Virgin these days. Cheaper than the 152mb was on previously too and because gaming latency is way too high due to work that is put back every few months I get a £14.50 rolling credit every month too. So 200mb and Phone for £13.50 a month at the moment Speedtest.net by Ookla - My Results
  20. the game purchase uptake per console (how many actual games console owners actually buy)is still more on the XB1, which says a lot really. And the US account for PS4 is not even in the same ballpark for reductions as the XB1 with new release prices on the Russia, Singapore or Colombia stores for example. Also you can game share with someone and set each others consoles to the "home" console and so effectively halving the price of any purchase if you are in a position to do that of course. As for backwards compatibility people do use it, and the 360 BC on the XB1 is welcome.Might get to the point that I can retire my 360 from under the TV next year. Not so for the PS3. Despite all the sales figures and bluster and a slightly better tech spec for the PS4, and fanboi rantings of course they are pretty much equal. So it comes down to exclusives on each console and what the people you know/play on-line with. I have had both systems since launch and MS have put a lot more effort into additions and improvements since their botched launch than sony have. #fact.
  21. Plus the cheaper games on XB1 if purchasing from various overseas stores via the loopholes that exist is a plus point too
  22. If its an option then go for both. My console of choice is XB1, but also pick up PS4 exclusives on that platform. Have a PC capable but with working with PC's all day, didn't want to sit up in the home office when at home when I can chill out on the lazy boys in front of big TV and game
  23. Been converting to the slimline casio LED models since 2012 and very very few issues. a couple of units had an issue but the customer service was excellent. Only a handful of lamp taking models left now. Fingers crossed!
  24. Pretty much sums up our financial state as a converted to academy selective grammar school in the north of England.
  25. Any update on this, still fixing?
