We trialled both and air server came out on top for us, less issues especially at the client end.

Thanks. Maybe next year then from a budget perspective!!

How much is this if you don't mind me asking, I see no prices on their website!

Just found out that the codes we were issuing students are now invalid (been going since 2009 as far as I can see) so trying to get to the bottom of how to renew. Previous NM dealt with it and did not leave any info on it and looks as if things have changed at MS end in relation to it now anyway. Reseller is convinced its an entitlement via our open agreement but they have been passed around as well so far.

Mike we are having a similar issue, will drop you a pm.
-
oh yes. It will be the SPF changes they made. I have been affected adn am on the list to be opted out. They cant give me a time frame yet. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

We have the same issue although not sure if we have the lastest app version. We use it primarily for a special needs student who has eyesight issues so a quick fix would be welcomed!

How did people eventually deal with this in the end? -
Just had a renewal email reminder from ProntoSSl for ours but they do not resell AlphaSSL ones anymore due to "various issues". First time experience of this for me, hopefully straight forward!

Any further info on this at all? Have got wind that the SLT has arranged a meeting (sales pitch) with mintclass this week...

Wed/Thur for me now

Metal pins look very appealing, in fact visiting thetrainline.com as I type!

Did anything happen in regards to this? Something along similar lines has cropped up in a recent conversation here so its on my radar now!

Some useful info here. Will be starting to look at these solutions in the New Year, particularly SW and LS. Looking for an all in one solution to replace our current squid based system and the threat of ipads looming! They are on my BETT hit list for Jan.

We retired our Sanako after upgrading to Win 7 last summer as the upgrade price was substantial. Currently getting by with Audacity but obviously not the full functionality of a language suite. Shame the products such as Impero don't include this side of things too as that would mean one solution in stead of two.
-
Yes, in fact have both of them on pre-order
-
Maybe like 8.1 "Blue" perhaps?

Wonder how this will affect organisations/people that took out the 2 year upgrade/maintenance plan. Awaiting a call back from our reseller as we took it out last year to effectively negate the cost of an upgrade so if things hadn't of changed would have been entitled to a free upgrade to anything released during that 2 year period, be it version 6.5 or 7.

BETT 2013 - Obligatory "what are you looking for" thread
jcookhgs replied to GrumbleDook's topic in BETT 2026
Going down tomorrow/Thursday for my first ever BETT visit, looking forward to it. One quick question to previous visitors do they have lockers etc down there? Due to the timing of checking in and out of the hotel I'll end up having to take my overnight bag with me to the event both days and would rather secure it safely somewhere rather than carry it around all day, thanks. -
How did this go? Did you go with it in the end?

Details of the position can be found here.

Finished off a few over the last couple of months to 100% including BF:BC2 to improve my % completed ratio. Crysis 2 will be done by months end due to that silly play 6 months later cheevo. Also chipping away at Gears 3 MP, Saints Row 1&2 SP, GTAIV SP and MW3 Spec Ops. Plenty to do!
