  1. So, Spiceworks, is it easy to setup? (In general)
  2. Do your end users like the idea of a ticketing system?
  3. Hi All, Do you use a helpdesk facility at your place of work? If so, what is it and how well does it work? Do you feel it helps your staff and yourself be more efficient? I want to implement Sysaid in my "new school" as we used the free version at my last school. I feel that if staff can log a ticket AND see their job progress it must be better than passing me in the corridor? Many thanks John
  4. Thanks for the heads up Jon, I use JP-UK for bulbs, have had a great relationship with them for many years John
  5. Hi Jon, I cant say how old they are as ive only been here 14 months or so. I suspect 4 years+. The have about 2500 hours on the bulbs. Just wondering if the ballast units are failing?
  6. Hi All, I'm trying to learn this software. I have been following a set of videos online. While the video online is different *(older) version to what I have I have made good progress. However, I am stuck - When I create an extension, the client will not connect to the server. - According to the video, its all correct. Does anyone know how to create extensions in 10.13.66 please? I'm vague I know but hopefully made some sense to someone! TIA
  7. Power settings have reduced the issue. We think the controller is failing. After speaking with several specialists it seems to be the case, Seems also to be common on the 660's and 680's as smart had three revisions of the controller on that series of boards.
  8. Hi All, So, I've got several EB-470's almost all are flickering. - I read on here to put them in to ECO mode. This DID cure the issue. What is the significance of putting in to ECO mode? Is the bulb on its way out or the projector? Any advice would be great. Thank you JT
  9. So, Been over there and suddenly realised that this PC was moved from one room to another (Both with IWB) . I have also changed the USB cable, this board for ref is powered via the USB. Am I right to assume that the controller unit on the rear of the IWB is falling? The teacher just told me that she's had to unplug the USB lead 4 times today. John
  10. That's a thought ! I'll go over and look now!
  11. Hi All, We have a 4 year old IWB (Smart SB690) and every now and then it drops off from USB 1) No Lamp on IWB -- Goes from green to off and obviously we loose interactivity 2) Checked drivers and they are up-to-date. 3) Uninstalled and installed the software and made sure up to date. 4) Used older version of software Same issue throughout. can anyone advise? With thanks John @ WAJS
