put a tiger in your pc?

well if anyone is wanting to play something on their 3ds thats cute as heck and fun but not exactly taxing i can recommend ever oasis i havent completed it yet (i think im fairly close but i could be wrong) but it really is a fun game i just wish it was on an actual console not a 3ds that i would like to be able to retire. main issue and its only slightly annoying is you have to switch your party round more frequently than id like (ofen mid dungeon) now granted there is 0 penalty for this and it can even be a plus as returning to your oasis restores health and you can re enter exactly where you left but it cab be annoying if you need say a character who can dig say to get past a puzzle but then need one with a ranged weapon in the next room also f rng played a bit of fire emblem radiant dawn this morning and need to get ike a few levels before i get too much further in the game so used some of my bonus xp and one of the levels increased exactly 0 of hi stats grrrrrrrrr damn you rng gods oh well i only need to get him to level up 5- times by the end of the 2nd level ive to play looks like its a ike kills all run lol same as last time i played but this time as im not blind playing it its even more annoying as i knew i needed him leveled but marcia keeps killing everything they all want to attack her and miss lol

spam it is then

im beginning to wonder if ditching redirected start menus isnt a good idea and just script "shaping" the default menu into how i want it isnt a better idea and just with apps deny read permissions to the shortcuts for users that i dont want to have say the xbox app

!wac i just find those types of lights that serve no purpose (ie dont actually light up something worth that needs to be annoying) so the aerial amp light just lit up the back of a cupboard and the wall above which i found annoying so "turned it off" ps4 controllers i have 1 controller i dont need to see its on as odds on if its on its in my hand i dont need a giant blue bar illuminating whats in front of me router lights its enough to see its working beyond that again it dosent need to powerful enough to illuminate my living room from behind a monitor. litle status lights im fine with as long as they arnt as bright as the sun but the amount of devices that have bright pointless lights on these days annoys me. take my front room if i had everything on default settings i would have a stripe on the ps4 lit up, the disk drive on the wii lit up (i think the wii-u does this as well but cant remember) router/digibox and tv all have fairly bright lights that are far bigger than needed. these lights are often on in standby mode just varying the colour i just dont see a need
-
im still guessing id hate it lol. i pulled the hp sign led from my hp g7 microserver because that annoyed me (it got shoved deep inside the case as it was powerful enough to illuminate the room it was in) again my ps4 controller light is on minimum as is anything that the lights cant be turned off on like routers etc. i remember having an aerial amp and that bugged me so much it had layers of black tape on it to hide the light

its also worth disabling computer config\admin templates\offline files\subfolders always available offline on windows 7 and above ive found
-
that would annoy the f out of me illuminated keyboard i can get behind the rest nope
-
i assume rgb is just lighting if so ive never seen the point theres nowt in a pc case worth looking at lol (i did once buy 2 pc neon tubes but fitted em to my car both 12v as the boot light sucked these shoved on the side made it much better lol)
-
if were doing that i have basically this but with a few options(32gb ram 4k screen 512gb pcie ssd) Alienware 17 Gaming Laptop Built for Virtual Reality | Dell UK yes im daft lol and the only game ive played on it in the ~6 moths ive owned is forza horizons 3 and that crashes a lot as the damn laptop uses custom nvidia drivers which are always months old lol on the plus side it runs lots of vms with no issue

Is is possible to disable builtin apps with powershell?
sted replied to Spangle's topic in Windows 10
i feel your pain with greyed out 1703 start menu fwiw it seems to be related to cortana i rewrote a applocker policy but once the old one has been applied it dosent seem to ever be removable so needs a rebuild but shouldnt happen on new builds. there is a dvd image i believe on vlsc with just the apps so you can reinstall them but ive never tried i only remove the ones these days nobody has any need for and im wondering if ever thats worth the effort. -
sounds like a bit of a wild goose chase
-
it sounds stupid but have you got any iscsi connections listed on your server that it can no longer connect to. after a recent update we found that servers got slower and slower and eventually caused all sorts of weirdness to the point we had daily scheduled reboots and it was noticeably slower in the afternoon.

isnt there a 3.141% margin of error there?

from memory the only real issues i had with the game and it might be fixed on a ps4 pro (seriously considered buying one several times even though i dont have a 4k tv) were the uncanny valley characters esp with lip sync, its really bad at explaining weapons and why you would want certain ones i was at something like 85% completion before i decided to get a slingshot and even then it was because i assumed there would be a quest attached to it so free xp and possibly if you did all the weapons tutorials a trophy and the awful load times the game can suffer. even at the end of the game i basically used 3 types of ammo all bows fire/sniper and regular with the odd use of the pink one that knocks bits off and the gun that knocks things off so instead of fighting a robot with 2 missile launchers etc i blow the missile launchers off and use them against it. i really enjoyed playing it but there are thinks above that i feel should of been handled better (again zelda did this on the plateau you learned how to basically use everything before you moved on) given up on botw for now done 1 shrine but second time round it wasnt as much fun but it might of just been an off day so ive finally put more than a quick play into ever oasis and am really enjoying that though i do wish it was a switch game not 3ds i want to retire that
-
well finished zero dawn got all bar about 6 trophies that just dont look fun. really enjoyed it and cant wait for the dlc later in the year. gone back to playing botw in master mode and not died yet but only done 1 shrine

and ignoring education instead of buying office 2016 once you cough up yearly/monthly for office 365
-
i think that depends on how you see it evolving. the current path is less corporate domained pcs and more "byod" for want of a better word so in theory you either buy a load in bulk and dish out but dont control as fully as with a domained pc or people buy whatever they want and you supply a usb so they can get access to your resources. in those scenarios sccm is less useful because you arnt dealing with domain joined devices they are just loosely controlled devices where users can do what they want but you can influence their settings
-
erm i wouldnt install wsus before joining a domain. my experience is it dosent like the machines name changing and that would be effectively a name change
-
with active directory can anyone think of an easy way of finding all users who are a member or BOTH group1 and group2 (there arnt so many users i couldnt just check them all manually but id rather not have to) as ive had odd issues where being a member of either is fine a member of both causes very long logons (i know why but thats harder to fix than just removing them from being in both groups)
-
go to server manager tick to install wsus as normal and let it add all the other stuff it needs (so iis etc) then untick wsus just install the prerequisites reboot (if it asks i cant remember) then install wsus that seems to get it to install for me more often than not but its not the most reliable bit of software ms do

School announces plan to close early on Fridays to save money

i sometimes wonder if angering parents if they are a good school might mean less apply there next year meaning fewer dont get their 1st choice school which im sure helps someones statistics somewhere -
the main issue is that youd end up with pcs filled with lenovo/hp/whoevers crudware at least with imaging you kill all that AND get education edition rather than probably home/pro
