ive got some good and some awful depends how much theyve been altered from the first install and how much of that was planned rather than o damn we need a new switch for x reason etc. Ideally now i do patch panel - brush plate - 48 port switch - brush plate - patch panel (repeat as needed) this is the aim but its not always possible as schools often wont spring for new cables so you end up with cables that are far too long for the distance they cover

IE v Google Chrome : Teacher wants to have her cake and eat it!

you could add a temp drive and force all downloads there then get it to empty on logoff -
its technically 1 player but until dawn is fun with multiple people beyond that i rarely play multiplayer these days

you can really screw yourself over in that game if your multiple characters dont have status removal magic and ideally nullify boosts i wasnt really paying attention to that on my 2nd runthrough and had found/made a persona for my character that nullified physical damage but it had long ago maxed out so my character was learning no new moves and towards the end of the game having few healing/status curing abilities caused me issues

Head has asked if its possible to get her a Mac for our windows network.
sted replied to TwistedHelixis's topic in Mac
if you have an rds server just install the rdp app on the mac and its basically a windows box. Yes you can manage apple clients on a windows network but you need a mac to do it with and install the macos server app it wont take gpos but you can apply policies to a mac from that but my experience is its not as reliable about settings as ad. It would probably be better to find out why she wants a mac and address that. tbh if shes only in the building once or twice a week im not sure an ad joined laptop is the answer anyway (or more than some very basic settings) you might be better off looking at workfolders and or direct access with no domain/minimum domain policies applied -
found another great weapon type in horizon this one i apparently had the purple (very rare) version of in a lootbox (i dont remember it ever mentioning these and i forgot i had them till i run out of stuff to make fire arrows) and wow this weapon is great for bigger robots it blows off removable parts (so weapons canisters etc) making them much less likely to do you damage but boy does taking down a thunderjaw take time and i did cheese it a bit by using the landscape to my advantage and basically hiding down a cliff where it couldn't get to me and just launching volley after volley of various arrows etc at it. in really wish you could have more than 4 weapons on the weapon wheel as to keep my long range and short range bows ive had to remove my tripcaster and multiarrow thing. and i just keep getting the song "run to the hills" stuck in my head while playing it when i see a field full of robots lol oh and f all flying robots

well 17 or so hours into horizon zero dawn now and i can say its basically tomb raider with robot enemies. The gameplay is near identical its just in what at least seems a bigger world (though when you get on screen messages sating keep going this way and we will just reload your last save file i wonder) its a good game but i dont get why its praised so much. The main difference to me between this and tomb raider is the lack of guns and the deaths are less gruesome but more frequent. Also i hate flying things and explaining what weapons do could be better if id of known how good an explosive tripcaster was id of been using it as soon as i could get one ditto to some extent to a bow that can deal something other than fire damage (ice leccy and corruption) and its still incredibly annoying to hit invisible walls or not be able to get over a 2/3 your height rock just to really slow my progress down ive still not finished fe echoes and ordered ever oasis for my 3ds and the hard mode for botw is out on the 30th so im going to start that again and try it differently this time im not just going to as soon as i can get all the towers lit up

Odd issues with USB keys and internal CD drives

might be worth putting usbdlm on an affected laptop and excluding certain drive letters from being used by usb devices -

its meant to be 25% faster but it still looks to me like a 2.5 laptop drive. I dont get why they cant have an ssd option or ideally allow you to put your own in

i enjoyed ff13 and ff13-2 ff13-3 same as with 15 i just diddnt like the combat luckily that one cost me about £6 so i dont even slightly care lol
-
im just paranoid and they werent £80 more like £5 im just clumsy at times and anything that stops a lens getting scratched seems like a good idea to me
-
i hope you have more fun with that game than i did. I hated it the annoying chat from party members the awful combat that just seemed to devolve into button mashing. I gave up on that game after about 90 mins and i just dont want to go back (it felt like a slog rather than fun granted going in straight from botw probably diddnt help and i find the fact you cant climb everything in horizion mildly annoying but after the first time i played it i had to force myself to load it again and i still diddnt like it) just glad i diddnt spring fro the version with dlc. if this is the direction ff is taking i worry for the 7 remake

handmade burger co are quite nice not the biggest though. best ive had recently was wherever it was in manchester (and their one traffic system makes leeds look well planned and understandable lol either that or google maps sucks worse than i remembered as car sat nav denied all knowledge of the postcode). Id hoped 5 guys would be good as theres one opening soon at the white rose which i go past often as not on the way home. ive actally come to the conclusion youre as well off buying decent burgers etc and doing it at home at least that way you can put whatever rubbish you want in em and have decent cheese rather than kraft slices (though i do like them in burgers i will admit its barely cheese)

unless you want to leave the house for any reason say work/shopping etc for the next month or so lol i think in a month and a half i but 170 hours into it 1 full runthrough and 1 all but completed one lol at least once i started playing it in the morning looked up wondering why i was hungry and it was tea time lol its also worth considering tokyo mirage sessons #fe if you have a wii-u from teh same people similarish gameplay just without the calendar so you can do what you want when you want without getting sent to bed by the damn cat lol

the windows 10 app printing is due to the way apps work they as far as i can tell dont use the full driver so if your printer has codes you arnt printing from an app dosent seem to be a matter of which printer/driver if it has a code forget app printing it will either crash the spooler or disappear into the ether as far as i can tell
-
thats the one yes lol

true but its not like its actually bad its just empty and can be frustrating. i wish you could just have a list of "missions" pick one do it them pick another rather than having to search a white expanse for stuff to do. when actually in missions it can be great fun but theres too much down time imo
-
imo its worth having an uv filter on your lenses just because it means if you do somehow scratch them its just the filter that takes the damage not the lens itself and filters are a lot cheaper

i reckon half life 3 will come out before kingdom hearts 3 or the ff7 remake lol

i put in a couple more hours last night. Killed some big thing in the village (using lots of medicine and dying at least once). Im not sure its harder than tomb raider the deaths seem a lot less gruesome (ive not impaled my head on a tree and died hanging in the air for instance). I think ive just got to the point where it opens up and becomes less linear but thats the point i stopped (and would of stopped earlier if i could of found a save spot lol. Its fun so far but can be frustrating and im not sure clicking in the stick for run works well i think id rather have it on a button but they all do something id hate more on a click. I really wish i could use my xbox pro controller on it that way i could map it and purple vision to a paddle (dosent help ive never liked dual shock controllers id rather use a duke)

you need other people with the issue to form a support group lol. I did think about getting one but only for remote play so i could play persona 5 in bed lol
-
not yet was btcc on tv yesterday and im still trying to finish fire emblem echoes got to the last level lost a character to stupidity/luck rage quit. Im probably going to try and get further tonight. I found the last 2 tomb raider games about the right length tbh i will agree they arnt the longest games ever but i finished them about the same time i was starting to get bored with them - - - Updated - - - so your the one who bought a vita lol

isnt raid 10 only a 4 disk solution i diddnt think you could do it with more drives as its a mirrored span and iirc raid 0 dosent support more than 2 drives nore does raid 1
