There's no memory overcommit in hyper-v : so if you use that in ESX you might find a need for more RAM in Hyper-v

yarp yarp - for us it just removes the awkward authentication layer for legacy stuff - but should work for your needs too.

You could also setup a separate relay address on the exchange box - remove all authentication and only allow certain addresses to send mail to it. What we do for printers, etc

What about bandwidth caps? QOS? fixed IPs? SLAs for potential issues? If this is the home inifinity package you'll likely fall foul of all these issues. Not to mention contention once more people move to it.

What about a little ntop box? ntop Should be able to show you which client is doing what. Not that I've ever used one with wireless, but should be fine.
