  1. If anyone has the APK app for Every Issues id be grateful if they could share it.
  2. looks like they still doing things to their websites but I find the below URL has been consistently working when the other shortcuts stop. https://www.every.education
  3. Do you use the Every Issues App? I'm trying to get hold of it as they pulled it from the Play Store a while ago and cant find it anywhere to download but believe it still works? I just use the website btw.
  4. Just to note this web address takes you straight to the logon page and is working - https://auth.every.education/ This shortcut you get the error which is the main landing page where you can then access the different modules etc. and this is where the error occurs - https://every.education/
  5. Another use for Copilot 🙂 You said: Check every.education status Copilot said: Copilot Here’s the latest status check for every.education, based on the monitoring sites we can query: 📡 Current Status: Still Not Responding / No Valid Data SiteStatus.org Shows “Not enough data” — meaning the site is not responding reliably to checks. digicert DownForEveryoneOrJustMe (Auth.every.education) Also indicates issues checking the authentication subdomain, consistent with the website having outages.youtube This matches what you've been seeing (certificate errors + 404), and strongly suggests the Every platform is currently down or misconfigured. ✅ Conclusion every.education is still down / not responding properly as of right now. It’s not just you, not your school network — the website itself is still having problems. 🔄 Want another check? Just reply “check again” and I’ll run another live status check for you.
  6. Thanks for confirming, hopefully they will sort it soon.
  7. How about this? https://every.education/
  8. Anyone else getting the below error message when trying to Access Every Compliance Login? You get a 404 error when trying to proceed too. Happens on mobile data as well as filtered internet so there problem. Tried calling them but Support line just rings out.
  9. Use Redstor here and education price is dependant of number of students. Easy to set up and restore files. Would recommend but not sure how much competitors are now but we pay around £1,800 Redstor EDU Bundle 12 Month Subscription Office 365 and GSuite included Servers included 7 Years retention
  10. I think that when incidents like this occur, there should be national internal communications sent to all schools so they can act on any recommendations that come out of the investigation. Obviously, this shouldn’t be shared through the press, as doing so could expose weaknesses that other attackers might exploit. But I would expect that, at the very least, the DfE could distribute internal guidance, especially considering how much they already require schools to comply with various regulations. It also looks like not everything is fully operational yet: https://www.highamlaneschool.co.uk/_site/data/files/users/school communications/letters-2025-26/1BF76121BE5A98E097C7C1921D45EDB8.pdf
  11. Not got a solution for the whole VoIP system but we have android VoIP phones in main reception which have Wi-Fi so i connect these to a 5G iPad i have solely used for this purpose and always kept in the same room and always charged and showed reception staff what to do which is pretty simple.
  12. Yeah I'll have to look around as I'm trying to achieve an automatic failover without human interaction as when I'm not in school rather than pay for one and then have to come in to plug stuff in etc. or do anything remotely. Cant see it going down well if main line fails and I'm not in to "plug" or "configure" something when we pay x amount of money extra a year for the 2nd line. Have main school voip phones covered with a 5g Dongle to connect to along with a couple of laptops for office staff which will keep the school running fine in case of an emergency, its just the normal running of the school that will be down so as long as classes have some chalk and a blackboard think they'll be fine 👍
  13. This is what i thought as most if not all downtime i experience is with Netsweeper and related firewall issues rather than the line so I'm thinking what's the point having a failover line with them as i presume this will be affected too.
  14. Anyone got an automatic failover line and router with Schools broadband?
  15. Famous last words lol. Just interested if anyone got any failover line stories that didn't work or needed some manual intervention as I want one that 100% switches faultlessly so I don't have to attend on site and then main line kicks back in when fixed.
  16. Has the main line ever failed or when you test it do you have any IP Errors or anything similar when the failover line kicks in.
  17. What type of Internet redundancy do most people have? for instance automatic failover or something as simple as a second line in and manual lead swap over to get "some" internet when main line goes down. Interested in best affordable solutions and practices.
  18. Yeah think I'll do this. "I'd recommend wiping the device down with Isopropyl Alcohol (at least where the label is going), that should help it stick better."
  19. I should have used Copilot before i started this thread 😂 as Dymo do "Permanent" or "Extra Strong" labels, a little more expensive but worth it if they stay on longer or forever. Thanks for all replies 👍 Dymo D1 Labels - Dymo Label Printers from The Dymo Shop
  20. Thanks for reply and yes seems like a good option but I'm trying to do it on the cheap and that printer or similar is around £150. Think i might stop with what I'm doing but resigned to the fact i replace them frequently as the Dymo label option is cheap and cheerful, shame they don't do "premium" labels with better adhesive.
  21. Already asset ID etc. the labels I'm talking about are just for visual purposes so students know where to put them back in the trolley and which trolley as their are a few. It's more for housekeeping purposes as everything else is sorted 👍
  22. I have in the past with SLT agreement wipe them back to factory settings and offered them to staff for a nominal fee along with a receipt/letter confirming no support offered as bought as seen. Even though eol may be useful for hard up staff family members to browse, read books etc. as long as you let them know they are eol and don't expect to much out of them. Money could be then used by the school for anything else.
  23. I currently label our student devices using different coloured Dymo labels. Some of them stick quite well depending on the laptop’s surface, but others are very easy for students to peel off, or they simply lose their stickiness over time. I also add a label on the bottom of the device so we can still identify it when the top label comes off — but I’m wondering if anyone has found a better, longer‑lasting solution than standard Dymo labels? What do you use that stays on securely?
  24. In theory USB-C ports for charging universal devices is good and still be my first choice but over a year of student use I've had a couple that have become "loose" or stopped plugging all the way in to make a connection. Maybe just wear and tear on the device side but I've had to repair 2 devices because of it and noticed a couple more have issues out of 60 devices.
