Don't know off top of my head - before we go down any more tricky routes just make sure you have done a no-auth for everything it tries to access.. and also remember that as "no auth" you won't have the same privs, so you might have to put the site in an allow list too.

We can block that one and most like it - though you need to be prepared to make some changes to how you handle HTTPS traffic perhaps to get full benefit.

I'd be extremely surprised if a properly dban'd disk had data recovered without recourse to specialist hardware... sounds fishy to me.

Thanks Rob - just to add to that a bit, sometimes, when i've been good, I get let out of the office to attend these sort of things - and from a technical point of view they're usually pretty interesting. Yes, we get to stand at the front for 15 minutes and show off our kit, and sometimes ISPs like to join in and display their wires, but for me, the interesting bit is chatting to folk over a cup of steaming joe before and after the "main event". Gives a good insight into how people are taking different approaches to the whole connectivity issue.

I never bother with coffee before I am at work, and drink max 2 or 3 cups a day at weekends, so I tend to feel like my face is about to fall off about nowish, as it's 5+ cups/day here. We use Gourmet Coffee Roaster and Supplier of Fine Coffees - Fresh Roasted Beans, Green Coffee Beans as our supplier... "has bean" look interesting tho.

It's our new filtering engine, which is slowly creeping out the door - public betas due to start ASAP. It will come as parrt of the existing smoothwall lineup, but offers a lot more than the existing filter. For example, there's now full who/what/where/when filtering, so you can get as detailed as you need on policies which are completely re-orderable so you chose the importance of each rule. There's also the long awaited "multi group" function, allowing a user to be effectively filtered as a member of two groups. Add to that some performance increases, a new auth front-end with "auth-method by subnet", an easier to use GUI... should be FUN.

Fateh, Thios solution is specific to the Smoothwall web filter platform - though if you are using a different web filter, it may be possible to adapt it, in truth, few are flexible (our critics would say complicated..) enough
