    From memory chromecasts require Google dns to be accessible so worth a check that you can use 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

    Yoe every time! We get salamander to create year specific sec groups too

    So of you can ping across vlans now the routing is working. Look out for typos and the scope is active etc

    Your core switch (must be layer 3) or router needs all vlans configured and a valid ip address. The on hp you just turn on routing. On your other post sounds like you were using the 10g unifi switches as "core" switches but thought they were l2 only

    You can do this with a simple dns entry rather than dfs. We do this for \\software

    The only time I have seen marginal perf increase is on old sata controllers where you are limited by the data throughput.

    Yeh you are right but tons of guides out there. I was lucky enough to blag an sccm course. Cost around 800 quid I think

    We are a Google school. Moved from o365 last Oct. I can't remember how many times I've had to say "you can do that in exchange but not Google mail". Can't stand the permissions on Google groups. Far too simplistic for my liking but other than that it works as a mail server should.

    If you have an ees licence sccm is free too unless you want to manage servers

    Rendering on anything but a cutting edge rig will always take an age. I can happily chop around 1080p vids

    My workstation is an i3 2nd gen with 6gb ram. Adobe cc works absolutely fine

    I'm sorry but even a core2duo with an ssd is fast enough for school stuff. Most people wouldn't notice the difference.

    Select all on the one page then read the link that appears at the top to actually select all in your mailbox. Had members of staff furious about this until I pointed out that if they just read what it said they could help themselves
