you will find that even though they rename it it will have a name that does not have a - in it maybe a _ but never a - your best bet is to contact them you will probley find the name is built up of server and database

all the pdf and printer settings and no longer stored in the config and are in the sl so they get exported with the package but if you wish to change you can find them in content Article manager and then Parameters i hope that is ok.

sorry for not getting back to you sooner but yes it would be the permissions. I am glade you like the templates and a big thanks to sysman for all his hard work.

there is no easy way as all the toys we use in joomla 1.5 and 1 use diffrent versions the best way is to copy sql file and insert the content into the new 1.5 version and then set it up again. I have put a note at download saying about migrating as it is not easy and I do it totally manually now via stripping the sql file down.

thats cool If you want to use the template switcher you can remove the simple template and still use all the others or unpublish the template switcher and then just use the simple template. sorry for the confusion.

the trouble with ore doing templates for simple means two downloads and dosent take long to setup manual will think about it.

that's what I did with the edugeek package but due to changes I needed to change and mod all the templates and some of the plugins components and modules are diffrent versions as standard version wont work. The way I did it was the export the data into new database but you need to know what tables to import took me 4 weeks to sort it out but got it down to a tee now.

It is now called jsn slideshow and it is in the modules there are 2 one for simple and the other for the rest of the templates. Smoothgallery has not been used in EG_joomla for some time as I beleave there is no longer support for it but in any case there is not one for 1.5 You will have to ask sysman why it was removed from original package.

if you want it removed so that it does not centre it is easy enough just to publish blank urgent message module.

nope It is a mod I have done if you want it on the left publish the urgent message module and it will go back to where it is supposed to go. I hope that answers your question the reason the was done was because I was asked to centre it if removed but i can change it back if not liked.

I have been using wiseman stuff for ever and I have never had a problem with it Its smooth and crisp and works like a dream.

well i have now deployed quicktime also 3 software packages which did not come with an msi or the ability to deploy via gpo.

Ok that may be a bit extrem but I have just got to say what a package and free as well (have made a donation) Had a problem installing new quicktime tried everything without sucess so i Installed onsng and glpi again I had it a while ago but took it off as I could not get ocs and glpi to talk now It work and to make life even simpler I have installed quicktime using the deployment side have also deployed 3 other packages as well mainly education software without an msi. Has anyone else used this extremly powerful package and find it as easy as I do know. If you dont have it i would highly recomend you have a play. ocsng glpi

you need to go into menu manager create a new menu item ie pupils the create a section and catogery for the menu then create a menu item in the mainmenu depending on what it to look like. If you want a better instructions goto the joomla website or get back to me and i will create a pdf.

Ok here I have a delema the template switcher is causing some issues and it looks like i am going to have to remove it untill it is fixed as one thing i am looking at doing is murging the orignal eg templates (not simple) and using a css switcher I hope this is ok I have had so many issues with the switcher its got to go.
